  1. Maybe t3's? The expansion chamber doesn't look quite right though. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  2. It also depends a lot on what you're used to, an as cast 4 mil serval will run better than most drag ported stock cylinder motors and have better bottom end. I really think many people worry to much about that extra 1.5 HP instead of just enjoying what is really an amazing step in banshee performance. If you're racing for points or money it makes sense but for the average guy it really doesn't. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  3. Without even googling the helium thing, the molecule is so small, the tires would leak down quick as it passes through the rubber. I also believe it is more temperature sensitive and the pressure would be vary variable due to slight changes in temperature. As far as helium filled frames. If you pressurized the frames it probably wouldn't be lighter the atmospheric pressure air. My thought on that is negative pressure in the frame. (I.E vacuum = no air- lightest there is). 4. I'm not doubting the material, I'm doubting that anything on a banshee will be made out of it in our lifetime. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  5. How are those titanium pistons working out? Oh right... Ti was discovered in 1791 so we might have a while to wait for this new discovery to trickle down to the banshee world. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  6. You'll burn about 30% more than gas, it draws moisture just like methanol. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  7. Where did the petal go? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  8. Subscribed for the slip. I know a very well set up 7 mil super cub alky bike that's running in the 4.teens, dedicated racer and a good rider. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  9. I saw one for the first time last year on a z400. Guy said he really liked it, if his thumb got tired he'd use it as a twist and vice-versa. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  10. Shift pro and modified shift segment, also making sure everything is tight. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  11. Basically takes first out so its n-1-2-3-4-5 Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  12. The tach drive was still open on the early banshee cases, my 87 has a plastic plug. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  13. The first thing to do is make sure all your parts are good. When I pulled mine apart I found that the shift shaft bore was ovaled and I had to machine it for bushings on both sides. That and a modded shift segment made it worlds better. Check the gears for wear grooves and the dogs for rounded edges. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  14. Ate you afraid you're going to break it or do you just want it to shift better? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  15. Lockup is in the clutch, its to add pressure to the disks to hold more power. Override is the tranny but I wouldn't do it in anything less than a dedicated drag bike and definitely not anything less than a dedicated sand bike. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  16. More compression = more torque. 150 still isn't real high. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  17. A friend of mine has a kx65 powered atc70 and he tells people a very similar story when they ask about it Lol. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  18. Exactly! I run most of my small engines on 100ll and have zero carb issues when I need them again. It'll tune leaner than race or pump gas because its oxygenated and it seems to not mix well with bean oil in my experience. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  19. He's definitely a hell of a salesman, I was ready to give money to the video Lol. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
  20. Methanol is, for the most part, distilled from wood and ethanol is distilled from corn. You don't need a jetting "kit" you just need to tune it differently. You will burn near double the amount of methanol and about 10% less than that for e85, compared to race gas.
  21. The way I understood it was that twin pipes create a ton of lag because it takes twice as long to build enough heat for the exhaust to flow properly.
  22. The blue one I posted is English Racing and I believe they have prices posted on their site...
  23. The blue Raptor is 130 ish hp on e85 and boost. I dont know about the shee but it looks pretty fast. A friend of mine runs a 660 based oem frame raptor that runs 4.2's on alky in Albany OR, but there is a ton of money and setup time in it. I'm not a four stroke guy so don't flame me I'm just adding some more info to the discussion
  24. I dont suppose you would be interested in some stock stroke 68 bore cubs?
