Heya guys. Im new to all this, so to you guys who seem professionl on the matter this may seem like a noob question.
I was replacinng the rear brake pad whcih is completely wore down. After removing the old ones and pushing the circular hydraullic cylinder that pushe the breaks out, i pushed it allt he way in.
My only problem is that after instaling the new pads, they just dont seem to fit. Its missing about 1/100 of an inch space in order to fit, and wrap around the disk break.. I was able to make both pads fit on once i removed the metal shin that goes on the inside pad and i also removed the little circle cap from the ccylinder that puches out. I know this is not rite, but i was thinking about riding it like this until they wear down a little, then including these two parts again once the pads wear down a little bit.
It this ok, or am i asking for problems. Thanks in advance, Alex..
