Yes absolutely. I think a judge is going to throw out the no reg, no lic, and no insurance tickets which ill have with me present. A cop cant just walk up to someone without pulling him over, or asking for theses things and jsut deciding to throw tickets around like they where party invitations. SORRY!!!! This is a case easily won. As i have won others inthe past.. On that occasion a cop wrote me out a ticket on a registration i gave hi for a mitsubishi galant, when i was really drving a Honda. The look on the cop when the jjuudge threw it out........ PRICELESSS!!!!!! Oh im going . I think i have a good to 100% chace here. You cant just throw tickets at someone without asking to se those items you ticketing him for (which i have all three and will be bringing them in).. Ill keep u guys informed!! Thanks again, Al

Alot of people said i was an ass for going bacck, especially sice i hwas home free and had totally gotten away with it. Only problem was that i didnthae time to think about it Its like if someone steps up to u in a bar. You either lay him out, or cchicken out ad=nd tur away. Its an instinct. For me it was this intstinct that got me into trouble, I just dont agree with the tickets and will plead not guilty. They never pulled me over on any type of veicle and just gave me ticckets on worth of mouth without evven chekcing my licence, insurance, or registration. wich i plan on presenting in court. I underrstand everything i did wrrong. But they didnt see anything. It was all by my word of mouth. I agree on paying the 1900 dollars in damage to the guys brand new car, but they nevver pulled me over in my car or quad (which was in my garage already) and just cant understand where they get the balls to give me a no insurance, license, and registration ticket. Im going to send in a not guilty plea. I think im going to win this one. They have to actually pull over a veicle to actually write u up any typ of tickets, which in my case they didnt. Ill be seeing them in court. This doesnt make sence. The 3 tickets add up to 450 dollars, which i dont feel like paying if i dont have to.

Youu know what? If it was just 10 years ago when i was a little punk i wouldnt have. But it wasnt something i had time to think about. It was a reaction. I felt bad to the guy and could imagine it happening to me. Thanks for making me feel better.

Ok so im rideing in Staten Island and like the asshole that i am, i was showboating on my neighberhood block. Make a long story short. I eneded up Wheeling and hitting a brand new parked truck. I quickly lifted bike and myself, which bike fell ontop of me and took offf. 10 minutes later cops show up to from of my garage and started questioning me if i had hit car. I said i have no clue what the hell your tlaking about and after about 10 minutes of trying to make me confess, they gave up and left. I then cleaned up quad and put it away. I jumped into my car and proceeded to leave the cirlcle of houses which i live in. (a community). As im leaving i see the cars damage, the cops hanging out there and the owner of the car looking at the damage i had done to his brand new car.. Technically i had gotten away a free man. But since im not a little punk anymore, i decided to go bacck around the block, jump out of my car, walk upto owner and cops and admit it was me. I just couldnt do it!! Anyways, here come the question. I talked to the owner of the car and agreed on a payment plan (total damage was 1900 dollars) Im paying him 400 a week until bill is payed off. Now heres the problem. The cops gave me 4 ticckets i just dont agree with. Ticket #1 No insurance, Ticket #2 noregistration on veicle, And ticket #3 no licensed driver. These are all tickets givien to me for me admiting to driving the quad, but they never pulled me over on it. and you cant even insure a quad or get a license for it. Main question: Should i plead not guilty to these tickets??? I think theyre bullshyt tickets and will not stick. What do u guys sugggest?? Need your help here guys. Sorry for long story but im mad that i stepped up to the plate and admitted to the damage, then these cops use me to meet their quota on baseless tickets. Thanks in advance, Al...

Hey guys, I jsut recently got my deram bike ( a stockck 2006 Banshhee) This is going to be my project bike for a while. i already ordered t'6, instlled them and am very happy. The next thing i would liek to do is Power coat the frame, Not too happy in the way tit looks. Im located in NYC. Ahhhhh i got it now. So sitting on my Bansee, theylle both be on the lefft side of the carb? Cool, I thought they would be on the left side for the left carb, and ont he right side for the right side, so that it would be easy to adjust ffrom the outside. Thanks for clarifying this. Going to go home and fix this since i was just playing all this time with the left and ffelt like nothing was changing.

Im guessing its the stock carbs since i bought it like this, and the kid had it all stock. On the lest side carb i see a copper//gold color screw, but on the right side i jjust dont see one. I checked to see if i cold see a hole which look threaded, but cant find one. If the right side screw where missing, would the quad still be running good, or would it be doing anything weird (like bogging)? Because mines running perfect. I dont know what the deal is..

i was adjusting a little flat head screw on the side part of my left hand carb responsible for early throttle respnse. But on my right side carb there isnt one. Is this normal or did it fall out??? Its been running great like i set it up, but ive seen videos where theyre adjust both sides. Whats the deal with this, if anybody know?? Thanks..

My experience was simair to others.... On a trip to SC i rode my friends Blaster around. He had two of them. I fell in love and when i got back home to NYC, i bouight a bran new 2001 Blaster. I rode around in it for nearly one year and ended up selling it becasue i needed the money and was also pissed that i was constantly getting beat by my friends that had this ATV called a "Banshee"... Needless to say, i wouldnt have a chance to ride one for another 8 years. Fast foward to 6 months ago.. All this time i had never forgotten my love for the Banshee and through all these years though about it once in a while. nowadays i have a much better job and money to buy the toys i once couldnt get. One day bored at work i look on Craiglist for a quad. I know i wanted to get as close to the last year (2006). i went to see a few before i bumped into a 2006 decent condition one. I took it home. Quad was bogging with the current setup and not reving out. The other day was my first time actually riding it. i waited 5 weeks to recieve Toomeys from the dealer, and installed them, rejetting and running it, i jumped on her. i kicked it and proceeded to try her around the block. I hit the gas and wasnt too pleased with her. I waited till the gear reved out at the top of 3rd. All of a sudden it felt like someone hit the turbo button, and was holding on for dear life. I think i mite of shit my pants. I was in loooooove!!!!! P.S. sorry for long storry, but i love my Shee... Hehe

Hey guys. I just recently got back into riding and havent had a ATV in nearly 10 years. Im from Staten Island, and growing up back then we used to always have a place to ride out here. It doesnt look like that anymore, and dont want to risk my Shee which i just got taken away. We used to ride out in Jersey back then with no problems but dont want to risk the old spots since i havent been there in years. So to the riders from the NYC area, where do you guys ride without any problems??? Thanks in advance...

Hey guys.. I have a 2006 Banshee which is just about stock. Only thing changed is air filter and T'6 pipes. I want to get the next best thing and dont really want to change anything motor wise. I was thinking about getting the V-Force reeds. Do you guys think this is the next best thing to get for me, or do u suggest something different. What should i expect to see with better reeds?? Yesssss. I finally fixed it. So i finally got up early today to work on bike and try to figure out what my friend did wrong when installing my pipes. On the right hand carb, i looked at the little window as someone here mentioned doing, and noticed it didnt look rite when i pressed the throttle. I opened up that carb and noticed that the slide wasnt going down. it was stuck in the up position. I figured out that the carb has a little groove on the side wall that has to line up with a small indent that sticks out inside the carb when putting it back together. Anyways i slid it on the little groove, put it back together, fired her up, and PRRRRRRRRRRRR. First kick!!!!!!! BTW: The T6's really woke her up. Its like night and day from the stock setup. Definately could tell the difference on the first run. Looks like therye nice pipes. Thank you all for the great help. Awsome site!!!!

I actually let someone do it for me, and should have done it myself. Its the last time i allow someone to fix my Banshee for me. I was there while he was doing it and seen him open one carb at a time, so i doubt he mixed one with the other. Regardless, im sure you guys are rite in saying its something with the carbs since thats the only thing that was changed in the process, and everything worked great before the pipes got switched. Im going to get up early tomorrow and pull appart the carbs and make sure everything is the way it should. Its driving me crazy since i waited sooo long to get these T6's in, only to now bump into this problem. Thanks again guys, your the best!!

Yes i have to figure this out because its driving me nuts. The quad starts only if im pressing the throttle extremly litely. But then once she starts if i press the throttle the smallest amount humanly possible, she starts screaming like i pressed it WOT. I tried riding it like this for a min and she was spitting all over the place. Sounded like a pinging back fire. Hope i could get this resolved since im dying to see how she rides with new pipes. All help appreciated and keep in mind i dont have to much experience with Banshee, so specific help would be great. Thanks Thanx. Any other ideas greatly appreciated since im going to have to tear her down tomorrow morning again.

Hey guys. I ordered Toomey T6's pipe kit wich comes with jets and Uni filter. and waited 2 months to get them in. They finally got in and i was super happy till i finished intalling them. Ok so installed the full exaust, i put the jets in as i read it in the instructions. One is for high altitude/above see level, the other for low altitude. Im in NYC so i used those. I installed the pipes, jets, and Needle which it said in the instructions to adjust to 4th mark. I did. I finished putting everything back together and was super happy. I even put new plugs in. Now here comes my problem. When i went to start the quad nothing happened.I kept trying, still notihng. I then got a friend to push me to pop it, and it started. It runs crazy though. The problem im having is that after i get it started i have to keep slightly touching the throttle in order for it to stay running. Now the biggest problem is that when i press the throttle 1/100th of the way down(the least i could press it) it revs as if i was pressing it all the way. WTF this is driving me crazy. What could it be> So my throttle has absolutely no response. As soon as i slightly touch it the least it could go, the engine revs like im WOT it. Could someone please try to think of what could be causing this.. Thanks alot guys, Al

Oh no, dont tell me that.. . I read alot on pipes before actually deciding on the t6'. I read that the t5's are good if youir going to do mods to the motor (which i dont plan on doing) and the t6's are good if your going to leave it stock. Im not really looking into having the fastest and badest machine. I just want a good looking Banshee theats reliable and runs good. Im going to wait for the pipes to come in before starting to mess with the jetting, since im going to have to redo them anyway once i install the pipes. I know what jets are, and already ordered the Clymers manual which came in handy for me to change the rear brakes. My friend also gave me a jet kit with different size jets. What size do you guys think i would need for basically stock banshee?? Thanks..

Thanks for help. When i bought the bike it came with a boost bottle and an after market air filter which i running with no cover. I dont knwo what the jets are, but should i be running for tthat bike in your opinion? Those are the only things done to the bike that arent original. I live in NYC , so dont know elevation. I checked the plugs and the tips are black. But who knows how old they are. Everythign seems to run perfect , except for that problem not wanting to rev andn boging when i wot it at top of gear.. The bike starts first kick everytime. I have the T6 on order. I ordered the kit whcih comes with jets, so hopefully that solves the problem. Hey all. I got a 2006 Banshee which is running pretty goor. It starts first kick, and idles nicely. I only have two problems with it. Problem 1: when riding it and reaching the top of the rev usually in 3rd or 4th gear, if i pin it wide open throttle it bogs and doesnt want to continue building revs. Because of this problem im forced to ride it and shift early before it bogs. Problem 2: When starting it i use the choke. It starts no problem. After sitting there idling for a bit, if i decide to pull the choke out again while bike is idling, itll shut down. Is this normal?? If not, what could it be. All help is highly appriciated. P.S. Im not too good with bikes, so if you guys have any solutions for me, please try to tell me them in a little bit more detail than you would an experienced rider. Thank you, Alex.
