I'll pull the head and take a look I've rode this bike hard in the past 2 weeks. If something were to blow I think it would of happened by now. I'm in NJ. About 100'

Anyone got any real info on slide types? I'm curious myself.

Thanks, I'll pull the head tonight and see what's going on in there. With compression that high, wouldn't the plugs start to back themselves out?

When I bought my banshee the right side pipe was smoking excessively. Turns out it was the crank seal letting oil through. Is it running on one cylinder after a bit of time? Check your plugs.

I'm really surprised I haven't melted the pistons yet. I'll get a hold of another tester and see what the results are. I'd rather run different domes then run race fuel.

It's a Snap-on tester. Before I did the crank seal (and my right cylinder was getting a lot of oil in it) I did a compression test and the left side read 215 and the right read about 165. I guess the oil effected it. I thought it was strange then. The other test was done with another Snap-on tester and they're both reading high. I would think a faulty compression gauge would read low, not high.

I got 215 and 220. Isn't that race fuel territory? This is my first banshee and I bought it as it. I pulled the motor and replaced the crank seal after I bought it but haven't messed with anything else. It has a cool head but I'm not sure what domes are in it yet. I've been running it on 93 octane and Golden Spectro oil. I've noticed it ping a few times but not consistently. Is 93 octane high enough for this compression? Should I replace the domes to knock down the compression? I've ran about 4 tanks through it already so if I were to have a problem wouldn't it of already occurred? Thanks for any insight.
