It's a Snap-on tester.
Before I did the crank seal (and my right cylinder was getting a lot of oil in it) I did a compression test and the left side read 215 and the right read about 165. I guess the oil effected it. I thought it was strange then.
The other test was done with another Snap-on tester and they're both reading high.
I would think a faulty compression gauge would read low, not high.
