  1. yeah my carbs are synced perfect.. so should i start with the air screws. for idle. it wont idle good never has as long asive had it.. ive got 250 mains in now.. should i lean my needle or richen it.. and also im running lid. just took snorkle off..

  3. got a very nice set of cases no chain whack or stripped bolts.. very nice.. ill keep shift star and all other pieces on sides as possible.. also have a stock tranny with all forks drums everything ready to drop in.. nice complete clutches. everything. and some more misc. parts... all are "OR BEST OFFER" also have clutch cover and stator cover too... cases. 150 plus the ride.. just need cleaned stock tranny..80 plus ride.. flywheel and clutch assembly... 40 flywheel, 30,, clutch set up.. clutch and stator cover.. 30 for both plus ride...
  4. its weird bc until the procircuits were on it ran great.. but yeah im gettting that shit off the top of the carbs.. they are a pain... but i played with air fuel screw last night seemed to help some but ill play with it more today..
  5. yah man. i just switched out.. but prior to me puttin pipes on i cleaned carbs, completly. ran good but i may have switched the slides as they were out of the carbs. maybe the damn tors system... only left cylinder doing it so who knows. coolant level stays good.. im using klotz r50 at 36to1. ... thanks for the info.. im lost though never had one do this to me...

  7. just put some pro circuits on bone stock bike.. elevation is 2000-2500.. weather now is 60-75... stock carbs, air box snorkle removed only.. have 200 mains in and not to sure on pilots. prob stock... ran before pipes were added.. now it starts and smokes like hell, and the "smoke" evaporates fast.. back fireing in left cylinder and smoking bad.. fresh gas 93. in it.. any help on a guess to what is going on and where to start on jetting.. i have 250 and 240 mains.. to play with.. stock needles.. thanks in advance..

  12. what do the mains and pilots range from.. size? any needles.. just got some pipes im already at a 200 main on stock pipes and motor.. 2000-2500 above sea level...thanks man
  13. got a stock shee now, but found some good deals on pipes.. pro circuits, and t-5's.. looking to port my motor for hardcore mx.. for all around power. which pipe would be better... going to do trails and then the normal 4 stroke drag... thanks in advance for advice...

  16. o yeah ive had porting before.. love it.. also have had 421 cub. had to go to school so sold them.. now 4 years later im back in it.. but prob what ill do is ride it till it starts slowing down and all, then do rebuild... send me a pm who does best porting for trails and an occaisonal drag with 4 poke... i like what i hear about kevin at Herr Jugs... thanks a ton for the info..
  17. o yeah im not going to touch it.. thanks a million for the info,, really helped.. its starts great 1st or 2nd kick warm or cold... one last questin.. the pistons had some blow by on them.. to be expected for a 14 yo bike,, but i rode it the other day and when i was up the mountain it richend up.. looked at pistons after ride.. no more blow by.. good thing or bad.. never seen that before...
  18. roughly 2000 above sea level and anywhere up to 2500.. at very max... i used a craftsman...
  19. hell it runs great for a stock ass bike.. i was told stock was 120. very low anyway.. and it is on stock bore.. not a bolt turned except for the usual maintnence... keep the opinions coming seems to me alot of people been told one way on compression and another way somewher else.. thanks
  20. got a 96 banshee... pretty damn old. bone stock .. never been rebuilt.. checked compression last night and both cylinders had 110 psi in them.. is this pretty good for its age. what is stock comp? just checking thinking i may have to do a winter rebuild.. thanks in advance..
