I run a 521 with a +10 with 72ro tire. It hook very good. I'm thinking of putting it on nitrous this year. Do you I should put a longer swingarm and tires with more ro? I was thinking +12 with 75ro. What are your guys thoughts

I put together a 465. It has k&t ported vitos cylinders on it. I am putting it alky from parts I had gathered from the years.I never had a motor on alky and need some help. It has 39 pwks pumper carbs. What should I set the timing at? what should the compression be for a alky motor? Are 39 pwks to small or should it have something have bigger carbs on it?

I was told by the person I got them off maxload don't have grooves for clips. They are use on the stator side only I need a tz bearing for the clutch side.

I got 2 maxloads for my crank but they don't have grooves for the clips. Do people machine their own grooves in them?

I have a set of cases trenches for a 10 mil and I'm want put a supercub topend on them. Will all I need to do is bore them and will I nred to bore them deeper any

Is a supercub gasket the same as a cub gasket beside the bore size?

I tried something different for the past race I turned my timing back up to 9.5* and added a tooth to the rear. But changed somethings in my clutch setup alittle. First 2 passes were a 6.1@ 97 but then was running out of gearing about 75ft before finish line. I added more air to the tires and turned timing backed to 8.5* and turned a 6.0@100 and ran low 6.1's@99 the rest of the night. Didnt have timing to change anything else that night because I didnt have time to. It was bouncing when it came out. It won't come out the the start this race like the race before but was a lot better the big end of this race. Opinions on somethings to try this race. I was thinking on going back to other gearing and clutch setup maybe back timing off some more and play with jetting.

Update Races got cancelled so I got another question if I have my timing set at 7* now without spray. What should I back my timing off to for a spray say 30 shot or 60 shot? I got a big race coming up in 2weeks thought of trying it.

What kind of mods and stuff do you do to make a clutch last longer? That would be a good topic to bring up in your lockup thread. I will try 6* on the next race and keep you posted
