Thanks.. I don't know thAT MUCH about engines.. just what ive learned from eXperience... The 2 strokes get a bad wrap but the shee has never done me wrong!!!!sounds like an easy fix!!!!!..........how do I know when it's time for new rings?? whats this cost if this is done by an engine SAVANT ??????

I recently went to my local bolt store and bought stainless fender bolts,, took em home, polished the hell out of em on a buffing wheel and they look great ( cost 6$) I was wondering if all the engine bolts are the same size,, case cover,, water pump cover..etc..etc.. I was gonn a do them all

I was cleanin the shee the other day and noticed residue built up under my left exhaust port...it looked like pencil lead and syrup..( I run 100 L).been building up.. i belive I need a new Gasket for the left exhaust.. I can apply pressure and see it's not as tite as could be. (FmF fattys..).. is this a simple fix as ordering a new gasket and new springs???

Im having trouble uploading a picture for my photo and for the gallery.. it is a jpeg and when i click on it it says image too large,(with the image resizer on also when i click on the image icon for the post.. its so far off center that it wont do any thing..im using paintshop pro 7..

I was here.. just not a member.lol.there are a few tracks around the Clearwater area. but Croom is by far the best area,, all terains.. marked trails,, unmarked weaving hills. also has a Huge sand pit in the front with massive burms, jumps, and some mud pits if interested. I'd say its about an hour with traffic from clearwater.. maybee less. My petcock has a minute leak...not enough to spill a drop but i notice fuel on the knob and on the bottom of the cock..{lol} .. does any one know about thier high- flow valves.( Pingel). I have engine work,,( 100 oct. L) domes ,, pistons,, pipes,, cool heads,, they say for high power engines that need more fuel,, I have stock carbs,, will these be able to handle the high flow valve? if not ..they are chome and look cool..

I have a set of fmf fattys with powercore 2's.. i have pistons ,heads ,domes, and run 100 octane leaded... ive had it for 3 years and have never replaced the packing. I notice it leakes black residue out the back of the silencers..(when i run it good) is this normal... ? runnnin too rich.. ? I use castor 927.. 4oz per gallon.. will I notice a gain in power if replaced.. ?how many hours should this be done.?.. bought used .. runs great!

I was wondering the best size line to use for stock carbs..? I bought something from my dealership but it was a bitch to get on the stock petcock...it is an all black tube with threads.. it looks like.. also i run an inline fuel filter that sits on top of my boost bottle.. the way it is routed the line comes down from the petcock back up a 45 degree angle over the bottle and back down to the carbs ( I bought it like this).. will it get better flow if the fuel line isn't angled up.. stock carbs.. I have engine mods.. pistons ..cool heads..domes .. 100 octane.. thanks...

Thanks.. I always shut off the petcock after I ride..How often would you recomend carb cleaning.. I run 100 leaded with castor 927

Does anyone have a diagram or pic of how to drain the floatbowl? one for each stock carb?? how often should this be done?

I had the same problem with mine... All I remember is the guy who I bought them from on E-baY saying was,,"Ya,, just go get some bolts from the hardware store"! 6 hours.. numerous trips to the custom bolt shop and finally borrowing a tap set from a friend,,got em in.. You have to put the front on first.. and pull the back together by putting a screwdrive r in the footpeg hole.{ you need 2 people} makes a lot easier...I'll look at it tomorrow to get a better Idea..Oh ya .. good luck on trying to get any help from AC. tech- support..All-CRAP..they work and look great once thier on though! mines an 02
