awsome, so if i were to put 20cc domes them compression should be around 150 psi and 32:1 is what i normally run and it works good for me and for higher octane just you mean just surpreme..

hi, today i was at a 4x4 rally and was talking to a guy who has a 2003 banshee nothing major done to it but he had a cool head with 20cc domes and was running avgas with a 50:1 ratio with full synthetic oil, and i was wondering what how that would run with my bike specs. i have a 2002 shee bored .050 wiseco prolites, wiseco racing crank and fmf gold series with power core 2's also a open air box, stock carbs, 320 main jets and thats about it... help will be much appreciated. thanks.

what do you mean by bored? what can you bore in a carburetor...

i have a 94 shee, bored .50, k&n air filter with an open aribox, also fmf fatty gold series pipe with power core 2 silencers. i have stock carb with 320 jets. looking to buy new carbs, what size should i get. and i also do mostly trail riding if that matters any. any help appreciated!!

so what it is telling me i need 340 mains and 30 pilots seems like a big jump from 260 and 25 but i will try it

the air screws are all the way out for it to run

fmf gold series fatty pipes k&n filter open air box stock carbs with 260 main jets and i think 25 pilot's stock sealevel boared .50 wisco pro lite pistions wisco racing crank it runs but it bogs at low rpm i am not shure what size jets and pilots to put in her to run good any help would be greatly appreciated and by the way thanks to everyone for the great info and how to get it to run

and i forgot what should i put for a pilot jet it has the factory one in it now

there has to be some sort of timing on a 2 stroke it says in the manual there is but what side is #1 left or right

no i didnt do a leak down test i guess i will have to take the motor out again and do that ,i put a new wisco crank all new seals ,bored it .50 thou new wisco pro lite pistions all new top end gaskets , now i and frustrated cause i cant get it to run it sucks

yep i did but the tube is not 100% tight could that be it , that would really suck if it was that simple

aslo the bike is back firing though the exhaust

i tryed a different coil and new plugs,still the same thing wont run on both cylinders alway on the left side it will run only when you can get it to turn up it will run on the right side on and off ,could it be the stator that is bad or the cdi box on the back of the bike ,dont make any sence ,could it be maybe the reeds not working right,

i am cleaning carbs right now, i tryed another coil and same thing ,but why in the shop manual does it say to time the motor....

i just rebuilt the motor in my son's banshee witch pistion the left or right has to be top dead center to time it ,because i have the left pistion now and it runs like sh@t ,right now it runs on the left side and some times when you rev it up it will run on the right side can anyone give me a good idea what is wrong . thanks for any help at all
