  1. I've gotten 2 opinions from 2 well respectd builders on which domes to run in my 421 cub on Alky and they varied so much that i would like to get a few more before i put in either set of domes. Its going to be run on asphalt in the 1/4 . The 1st was 24cc and the2nd was 18cc so you see that is a big gap. Any experience good or bad would be extremely helpful. Thanks fellas
  2. I do have a lockup its a slingshot i just hear guys talking about slipping in 5th and 6th while racing th e 1/4 on asphalt. Thats what i built this bike for. now i'm just waiting to get my cub cylinder and crank back from Herr and my swingarm n a-arms from FAST.
  3. Do you run a drag axle? i was looking into them and found 1 thats adjustable from 21-26 and the other thats 23 1/2-28 1/2 any input would help me. They are both JJ&A

  5. Does the noise stop when the clutch is pulled in. I only ask cause i have a nasty sound and the same thing happens when i'm coming to a stop or when idling real low. But as soon as i pull the clutch in just a little it goes away. I've been to involved with my other banshee to have time to fix it. At first i thought it was my crank bearing but a guy told me it was the tranny bearing behind the clutch basket. If you figure it out please let me know

  7. john iwas looking into the WCR trannies before i sent him any moey and i ran across some posts that left a bad taste in my mouth about his product. wanted to get your opinion and call FAST HERR and M&M any input would be great

  8. The domes don't have to be cut. Something isn't right. The 4 mil crank, does it have the 115mm long rods on it? What makes you think the domes have to be cut? Do the pistons hit them? Also if you are trying to run Alky look up some of the site sponsors and give them a call. Jeff over at FAST has been awesome in helping me with mine
  9. I'm looking for an override transmission who sells these. I'm not trying to pull the one i have out to get cut, does anyone just give a core charge and ship them? any reccommendations on where someone got theres and how they like it would be greatly appreciated. I built the motor around this and now its time. 421 cub drag ported on alcohol 39's w lock up & gears. Thanks
  10. What do you recommend for tires with those gears? Also i believe i saw clips of some of your launches on youtube the AKA was similar if not the same. That was turnd me on to the dyna and started my research process. Thanks
  11. On your dyna do you have a launch limiter and what are you using to set it off? I've heard of something on the clutch perch, but what? Also i will be running on alcohol do i tune the bike and then install the computer or do it all at once? Also i have an adjustable timing plate, will this interfere with the computer or do i just turn one or the other down? Hope this isn't too much at once, like i said i have a ton of questions. Thanks for your input

  13. thanks guys any info you could give me would be great i'm new at the asphalt game but am hooked and am learning some expensive lessons anything you tell me about ignitions would be fantastic , i mesaged tedder and he told me what he was running for ignition and i think i might be going in the wrog direction with the dynatech for what i wanna do & i don't wanna learn the expensive way again.   14. any and all info or knowledge on this. My bike is a 4 mil cub +12 swingarm from FAST just purchased slingshot lockup clutch, have override gears, outframe shearer pipes 39mm alky pwk's looking for experience with the dynatech 2 stage rev limiter and launch limiter programmable computer. i saw some nice launch clips and the guys said this is the way to go. any info about 1/4 mile and this bike would be greatly appreciated. i haven't run it yet with this set up just waiting on a couple more parts to arrive and still have lots of questions.   15. I am having problems with my drag banshee. I have a 421 stroker motor fully drag ported with 16cc domes 40mm carbs running on 112 octane and cpi exhaust. i recently purchased a boondocker nitrous kit and although the tech has been extremely helpful, i am having problems tuning it. my questions are does anyone have experience with this ? What domes are you running, what octane are you using, is your timing +, -, or at 0? Is there an ideal compression i should be looking for? Any and all help would be appreciated from someone who has already been all of this. Thanks for some much needed help in advance
  16. You are gooing to need a 32mm socket and you are probably going to have to replace the lock washer located behind it
  17. I just built a 421cc banshee. I have the wiseco 4mm long rod crank, the 68mm trinity cylinders with 21cc big bore domes, i also have 35mm keihn carbs from trinity with v-force 3 redds and cages in a crossover intake. Anyway i was going to go with the trinity stage 4 exhaust , but i like to get all of your opinions before i make final decisions. All input is welcome and appreciated. Thank you

  19. i am thiking about getting a hydraulic clutch but don't want to go ahead until i get some feedback on them they would be used with a barnett dirt digger clutch with extra heavy duty springs thank you
