  1. It's unburned two cycle it's normal try getting your pipes to fit tighter or replacing the little rubber gasket in your pipes
  2. You guys have me sold on this Serval cat - could I just slap these cyl. on my 4mil stock cyl and be good to go or would I have to change anything else to make them work?
  3. it's stock I was just wondering about the compression being high if that had anything to do with it. I think I will have a leak test done?
  4. Your not that far off my buddy has the same set up at 4000' and he runs 310 I would say drop it to 290 for the elevation change and plug check.
  5. Okay I gave my wife my old motor and I changed from 34mil to stock carbs and changed from advance timing +5 plate to stock now that motor won't run worth a crap it dose have 180 psi compression. My question is do you have to advance the timing if you have that much compression? Thanks
  6. okay needs some help...I have a ported Banshee that ran great, Then I took the 34mil carbs off put stock carbs on also took the advance timing plate off and now I can get it to run right. It dose have 180 psi compression. My question is do you need timing advance if you run that high of compresion? Thanks
  7. Sand Hills is on the far end - We always stay at Egin Lake it's closer to the big dunes... It all depends on the weather if it's good there will be some pretty cool stuff there.
  8. I don't know what your elevation is but I live at 4500' and I run about 140 psi with +5 timing on my 4mil stroker set up by K&T one of the best and I only run Pump 93 octane runs great!
  9. I powder coated my wifes pipes and they only lasted a few trips the first time she got her bike a little hot it flaked off...
  10. Got to get the clutch basket off I got it shifting again but if I push on the shift lever I push the shift fork off the shift star... what holds that from pushing in too far and doing this? Thanks
  11. I have the same set up but 34mm carbs and stock ignition. I always start out in 2nd gear up sand hills and it never bogs. I would say 14 front and 43 rear, something has to be wrong that set up should be able to almost start in 3rd with no bog.

  13. Dose it matter what plug wire goes to what plug? and for that matter dose it matter if you coil wires are switched on your coil?
  14. There is a small ball on the underside of the cap when you take it off can you shake it and here a rattle sound?

  16. It's clicking but only down one time and back up one time won't go anymore after that and it dose not change the gear it's in kinda looks like the shift lever is pushing out a little?

Hi first time on here so any help would be great - Long story short my son was racing up Thunder in St Anthony's Idaho and his bike stuck in like 4th gear (not sure3rd or 4th) and we push the shift lever up and down it clicks like it's shifting but it's not just kinda pops in and out. Any ideas what this could be just wondering before I tear it down - Thanks.
  18. I was wondering if it matters if the power and ground wires are swithced ( Orange and Black) Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give.
