  1. Mods: New top end .40 over with Weisco pistons and rings, new case halfs, hot rods stock stroke crank, Pro design Cool Head with 19cc domes, Barnett Racing clutch with stiff springs, 200 Watt Rickey Stator, FMF power core 2 silencers with FMF gnarly pipes, Trinity Stave IV 2 in 1 carburator kit and intake with matching carb, V Force Delta 3 reeds and cage, K&N airfilter. My elevation is 1,100 ft. and the temp is around 0 degrees Im not sure what the jets are but it was running fine last week and the temp is the same Ive tried to just let it idle but after a little bit it just dies. its a fairly weak idle to I have tried it with and without the choke on and it doesnt really seem to make a whole lot of difference By taking the choke out do you mean removing it from the carb completely?
  2. ok im snowed in tonite so i can work on it all nite if i want i just want to get some tips on what i should do. heres what is going on. it takes alot of kicks to start and it will idle for a bit then when you rev it up it will rev up then bog down and die. i dont think its the jetting because it was running great a couple days ago in the same weather. the plugs are pretty black from oil i cleaned them and it does the same thing. i just want to know what the hell is wrong cuz i want to ride bad tomorrow. would cleaning the carb with compressed air get me anywhere or something. is it just the plugs are fouled. is it loaded up with gas really bad. im a newb with shee's this is going to be my first tinkering on one. i hope its something simple that someone with some experience would be able to help. i will be on here awhile so i should reply fairly quick. any help would be greatly appriciated

  9. Ya one of the caps doesnt seem to really snap on the plug when you press it on. so basically is the to fix my problem just new caps/coil and plugs? Also the oil i am using is Ti Lube 2 stroke synthetic 32:1
  10. thanks for the advice. as i understand it one of the plug wires isnt allowing enough current to whichever plug it is attached to. what i dont understand is why it runs fine now though since i switched them back? also, this is kind of random but what premix would you recommend 40:1 or 32:1
  11. Ok my shee seems to be pretty sensitive to loading up, is this normal? and when it loads up does it cause one cylinder to not run right? this happened to me twice today. can anyone tell me whats going on? thanks
  12. Ok i went out switched the wires and it ran fine then i got stuck again and i let it idle while i pulled it out then it started not getting power on the right side. so i let it sit for awhile and switched the wires back to normal and now it runs fine. I guess these things just dont take much to load up idk
  13. I havnt really checked it out the plugs or anything yet but they are fairly new i think. the guy i got it from said run 93 octane so thats what im running
  14. Hi im new to this site and banshee's. I have a 96 banshee with a trinity 2 into 1 carb, v force 3 reeds, bored .04 over, fmf pipes, 19cc domes, and some other stuff. Anyway heres what happened i started it up today and it was fine, then my dad rode it and being a pussy he never got on it much and had it bogged down most of the time. Then i rode it and got it stuck in some deep snow and it sat there idling for a while then it just died. then it wouldnt start very well and wouldnt unless you got on the gas. Ever since it just doesnt seem to run rite. Smoke comes out of the right pipe with alot more pressure than the left and the right header is really hot like it should be and the left one just gets warm (you can touch it with your hand and it doesnt burn or anything) im not sure if its just loaded up really bad or what. please help thanks
