I dont have to much advice, but i had a similiar problem where my quad would start really quick and die, turned out the orange coil wire connector was loose so i crimped it back down and it fired up instantly , might wanna check your wires,

dam that thing is wasted

Well i wont give ya any flack, I run Klotz RD 50 Techniplate ,36:1 , really great oil and it has a nice smell. In the tranny I run Bel Ray Gearsaver 80w ,The best gear oil . Lets my bike have solid shifts even when i have been riding for hours

Just wonderin whats some of the chrome cleaners you guys prefer , ive been using blue magic chrome polish,its ok

The "Roost Boost" by Answer Products was an electronic device put in the electrical wiring before the spark plug. It was supposed to reshape the charge and change its ignition timing so as to provide a boost inlow end power by making a cleaner and faster burn in the cylinder. My brother i law had one on his 1986 Cr500. I guess they are unheard of today,it was a 1980' technology breakthrough back in the day I guess. I dont think anyone still uses them now.

Just cut off a chunk of the brake lever with a grinder to your desired length then grind down and buff the sharp edges, there ya go done deal

Go into photobucket if you have one,, choose the picture you want ,then choose the EDIT option and click on the RESIZE photo tab, then click on the PRESET SIZE tab, then maybe try selecting eithier medium or small from the preset option ,and it will drop the photo down into a descent size to where its not so gigantic.

Pour enough white vinegar to completely cover all of your parts . The parts will begin to turn orange after approximately 15 minutes. Don't worry, the rust appearing is only from oxidation of the metals in the bluing Remove the parts from the vinegar every 20 to 25 minutes and wipe down the oxidation. Continue to soak the parts until all bluing is removed. Step 5 Remove the parts from the vinegar once all bluing has been removed and dispose of the vinegar. Step 6 Rinse them under the faucet to remove any remaining vinegar. Step 7 Dry the parts off as best as you can, and then place them on the foil-lined cookie sheet. Step 8 Heat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for about 20 minutes. Step 9 Remove the parts from the oven and let them cool. Inspect the parts for any rust spots, and rub the entire part down with the extra fine steel wool.

So taking out those spacers and putting in say 3/8 spacers would be better for the engine? i looked at the carbs and they will clear the clutch arm if i was to move them up.

I have no idea,the banshee came that way when i got it.
