  2. i have a very nice set of 34mm pj's with billet pro design intakes, and K&Ns. this is a very nice set and they work perfect i just moved up to 38's for my cub. Cameron at redline racing tuned these in for my bike about 3 months ago and i only ran them once after that before i got bigger ones. they have a 155 main and will not include a pilot. i am having trouble with my other pics but i can text more. intakes are near perfect, and k&n's are good condition. whole package carbs, intakes, k&Ns $300

  7. right now i am running chrome stock suspension up front on my j arm frame (they are really stiff). Im curius what you guys think would be a good upgrade and will give me a little smother ride. this is a dune/drag bike. I have started looking into works? fox floats?..also whats a good length for a dune/drag bike?
  8. i got a pm before you posted, but your next in line if it doest work out.
  9. thanks for the responses guys. that makes sense with the needle and i think i will leave on the 4th clip until i take it out and run it, yeah i think the pilot may be a little rich, i will probably put a 50 pilot in them and see how that goes..?
  10. just got a new set of 38mm pwk's for my super cub, this is set up as a drag/all around duner..no porting on the cub, +4 timing, and vf2s!.. i got these carbs and they have a 165main, 55 pilot, and a cel needle on the 4th clip down........do you guys think this is a good starting point? or is it too lean? I know what the main and pilot jets change, but what does adjusting the needle up or down do?, how will this effect performance??
  11. I cant make it unfortunately, should do another one over the summer tho..
  12. im heading over to florence on the 19th or 20th going to do some riding for the day to get my new carbs tuned in. ill let you know when it gets closer exactly what day im going.. ive seen that orange and black cub of yours run about a yr ago..thats a fast bike!
  13. Those look really nice! I have been tossing around the idea of getting a pair myself, what did you pay for those +2+1's ?
  14. a few parts that came off a 2004 banshee.. everything is in good condition, prices are tyd in the US. flower chrome grill $25 shipped.. very good condition Modquad billet 3/8 spacers $20 shipped with gaskets, stock grab bar $30 shipped.. also have stock tail light if interested
  15. I have un stamped inframe bb CPI s I would like to trade for inframe sb shearers. The CPIs are in great condition and have cascade silencers that retail for $325! These are the pipes in my sig..let me know if your interested. Thanks for looking
  16. Yea that is how he said we should set it up to keep some mid range power.. I will keep it this way for a while. I am trying to get everything possible out of it but still keep it duneable at least for a few years until I can get another dune bike and make this one into a hill shooter
  17. J-madd, what were you curious about when you asked if I was running without a base gasket? I know that's how he set it up but not sure what the advantages/disadvantages are of it?
  18. except mine are inframe.. they are the pipes in my sig.
  19. Yea he told me he set it up with no base gasket.. That's exactly what I have non stamped bb
  20. Deffinately go up a size on your pilot jets! My gfs bike has almost identical mods and it was bogging just off the throttle until it reved up and seemed fine. I went up one size on the pilots and the problem was solved!
  21. They are deffinately big bore CPIs.. I had Cameron at redline set this motor up and he Told me I could gain a few hp by switching to a sb pipe.. But after hearing some people talk and looking at some dyno results and seeing huge 10 hp gains from the switch to sb pipes I was curious if that was typical? The cub is not ported just cleaned up the flaws.. And it has lowered port timings to retain some mid-range power.. Even with these changes I'm thinking the sb shearers would be the pipe for me.. Or the snipers but I'm not sure how they would do with the lowered port timings?
  22. Yeah that's a big gain in hp!.. anyone else have these results with a cub?
  23. I currently have big bore CPIs on my new 4mill super cub (472cc) because they were on my bike when I got it.. Would it be a big hp gain to go to a small bore shearer or something else small bore? The bike is set up with lowered port timings for more mid range power because I dune it a lot. (Dynoed at 89hp with 53ft lbs of torque on gas with 34mm carbs) saw the results in the dyne section and there was an 11 hp gain on a 421 from big bore CPI to sb shearer.?? That's huge?
