what i was thinking is it would be easy to go to an all drag set up if i decided to do that down the road..!
-
I'm running a 4mill super cub set up as a serval and I love it as a dune/drag motor.. I can dune it all day long and then go beat 98% of the people I drag race. I would get a cub and have your builder do some things to lower the port timings. That's what we did with mine. Also check out n2otoofast4u motor it was set up by Cameron at redline like mine was and that's what he did.. It's gettin 80 hp with t5 s and a lot of torque
-
haha oops my bad.. i see it know looks like it should be fun gotta see if i can make it.
-
Ok thanks for the info.. just talked to another drag racer said he has seen them go anywhere from 350-200 used.. so let's start over at complete PVL $300 obo shipped.

I am in eugene and think a bhq trip would be sweet.. x2 on the horsefalls idea.. that would be a good place.. I have a group of about 6 buddys that I usually go with.. let's set a date
-
x2 on that.. very nice honest guy and tells you what you need and what you dont, and also what makes good power and what doesnt. Yea thanks for the info on the 39's, im hearing good stuff about them on cub's, im deffianately getting a pair before my next big trip over spring break.

Testing the waters with my pvl .. It is currently still on my cub and runs great but My banshee is an all around duner and and I would like to get headlights again. Amazingly fast reving with this set up! Complete set up including the flywheel and stator.. $375 or trade for dyna programable ignition with stock stator and flywheel.

I am getting 38 mm pwks in a couple days, anyone know if I will need a new throttle cable? Or if I can use the one of my old carbs which are 34mm pwj.. thanks
-
Looking for a nice grab bar with plastic and tail light brackets still attached.. Let me know what u got. Thanks
-
oh hey hows it going, im glad those cylinders worked out for you. i was impressed with that set up when i had it, it deffinately had a lot more mid range power for hill climbs and tree holes than this cub does. actually the guy that first ran those cylinders said they were great on methanol!
-
yea he did, he deffinately recomended 39 pwk's but i was kinda on a budget at that time and im using the bike as an all around duner. But i was just asking around and getting some ideas if its gonna make a huge hp difference and it seems like it will. so im gonna get me a pair. this is Bryant
-
ok yea that sounds better, i forgot to add i am 195 lbs, the bike was dynoed at 89 hp with 54lbs of torque, and i am currently running 15/45 and i cant get a good launch in 2nd.
-
curious what would be good gearing for my supercub?, i casually drag race about 60 percent of the time(when drag racing its around 300ft or under) and dune 40 percent of the time mainly hill climbs in oregon. its a 4mill supercub with 38mm pwks on gas, pvl ignition, 8 inch arm, and 22" 11paddle sls. any suggestions? thanks
-
looking for some good condition 22x11x8 9 paddle haulers, med. buff or standard. let me know what you got? thanks

are the 39mm pwk's still available??

just got a new 4mill 72mm supercub built as a drag/duner and i am planning on going from my 34mm pj's to 39mm pwk's first. Next i have been hearing mixed things about my big bore cpi's and that i might be better off with small bore shearers? what do you guys think?
-
just got a new 4 mill 72mm super cub built and i am still running 34mm pj's on race gas from my old build..is it worth the money vs. hp gain to step up to the 39mm pwk's?
-
i have a fresh set of stock, bored, and sleeved 72 mm banshee cylinders set up for a 4mill with wiseco pro lite pistons. they have been race ported and pistons have been windowed and pinned. All work to cylinders and head was done by chad at holeshot racing. the head is a stock polished head that has been shaved, re domed, and o-ringed. this combo runs great.. and has good compression at 170 lbs per cylinder. these have a ton of life left and put out close to 90 hp on my 4mill. they are still on my bike currently so you could see or hear how they run. Good low end power with the 72mm. if interested or you have any questions please call, txt, or email. 541-337-4707 thanks. looking to get 700$ for the whole set up...there is 350 in porting alone on these cylinders..
-
cool thanks, i shot him an email and ill call if he doesnt get back to me, but that looks like a good chain at a good price, would you recomend the rk x ring one? rather than the non o ring?
-
just curious what you guys think a good chain is for the money?.. i have a 4mill that a ride pretty hard but i mainly use my bike for trail riding and hill climbs. also it is a 8inch extended swinger so i think i will need 140 links. thanks

72 mm twister cylinders and wiseco prolites

sorry about the confusion guys, the thing is i have not torn down the top end to look at things for myself because i have not had any issues with the bike so i am just going off of what the previous owner listed for me.. he has....decking head, cc & squish and the head is deffinately not stock but it is not a cool head that i recognize, race porting on cylinders, pistons windowed and pin, sleeving cylinder to 72 mil bore.. but the cylinders are deffinately not stock but they are not the mini billet or mono block either and he says they are twister, hope this helps ill work on pics in about a week cus im away from my bike right now.
