Ok I have everything to put together a rolling chassis and I've always wanted to do a sled motor in a shee for drags and plus I have a friend that has some nerve damage in his leg and he can't shift up so i though thata would be perfect for him too if he wants to join us at the dunes. I've been searching for info, best motor, best way, tips etc, but can't find anything. Anyone have any suggestions or know where to look?

Wish I could have gone but I wasn't able to pull off 2 weekends in a row. I will say that the weekend before was near perfect weather wise so I guess I lucked out....... Maybe next year I can make both or just stay there for the week, lol

I just zip tied mine under the rad cover with the key in the on position but you can still get to it through the side to turn it off if you REALLY want to.

I believe last year it was $50 for three days. They aren't Sand Stars or Haulers but they worked good. Its all dunes and open sand, a few little trails through grass/trees. You have to have a flag and unless your ATV is set up for 2 riders you can't ride two up. Night riding requires operating tail light, doesn't have to have a brake light but you have to have a tail light. You can rent paddles there but you can also hit craigslist and pic up sets cheap. I live I Springfield, Mo and really enjoy LS. I would like to make the Banshee Rally but its the weekend after the Raptor rally.
