Anyone that fell into the e-mail hoax over the following,do the research or should I say it has been done for you by this fellows site. There has been a "Koran 9:11" email hoax spreading across the web for the past 3 years that says - in short - that the Koran, verse 9:11 predicts that the rise of Osama Bin Laden, the attack on the USA on 9-11, and the American responses of attacking Afghanistan and Iraq. I have received this Hoax twice in the past week - probably because of 9:11 - and I also got this hoax email last year around the date of the 9/11 anniversary. Because we have received this Koran 9:11 hoax email yet again it again, this page is being dedicated to debunking a Christian / Conservative Anti-Islamic Koran 9:11 hoax email. According to the "Koran 9:11" email, verse 9:11 from the Koran - the Islamic Holy Book - says that a Son of Arabia will do something bad that will awaken a fearsome Eagle. And that the wrath of this Eagle will be felt throughout the lands of Allah. The connotation, of course, is that the Islamic Fundamentalist Osama Bin Laden (the Son of Arabia) has attacked America (the Eagle) and that the wrath of the Eagle will be felt in the lands of Allah; i.e. - the US will attack Afghanistan and Iraq. The implication is that the Koran predicts not only Osama's attack, but it also predicts (and thus justifies) the US invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. the This email and the Koran passage quoted is big fat lie, a distortion of another people's Holy Book and a flat out Hoax. I think it is funny. Understanding the perception of what someone is trying to say is too deep for some and presumptuous people get on my nerves when it can only be seen from their standpoint and what crawled into their head that day. Not trying to start anything by what i'm about to say, the idea is awsome and i'd support it any way I could. I just finished reading the August ATV action mag, and as fore mentioned there is always a possibility that Yamaha has something in mind of their own. Though the ring ding ding is what we all love and are involved in. The 500 twin in the Phazer snowmobile is just sick with potential to find a home an atv, even the rebirth of the Banshee as mentioned in the article. Any of us that live and breath the drag bikes know that the YFZ 450's,DS's,Raptors have taken a rank as a formidable power plant. If their 500 ever found a production home in an atv, it would change the drag world for sure producing 80hp stock and no telling the aftermarket possibilities.79.0mmx63mm x2 is just begging for a buider to go nuts on, seriously. Like I said, i'm with the resurrection idea, but keeping a close eye on the powerplants out there is just wise from our stand-point at least. A few have seen RB's Honda powered warrior in action,and it is soon to go into an ultra-light ex frame, the competition is definitely keeping an eye on this build. I always keep an eye on the competition and possibilities, if yamaha ever did produce that bike it would just be awsome in my opinion and would definitely effect sales of this idea we are talking about. I think there will be many,many years of used Banshees on the market before they become "hard to find". The 250R became hard to find for awhile, now they are everywhere to be found. Why, they are loosing their place in many of the race catagories against the new machines available. I'm no marketing expert by any means and for sure not mainstream in thought, just throwing some history into the mix of this cool idea. The Banshee is a classic and has it's place forever, like the R has dominated for years in it's world. When I saw the Rebel Star come into production, I thought for sure it would make it just from the"hard to find" aspect and pure race ready build. It was a little pricey at 14k if I recall correct, but thought for sure it would be a hit. It wasn't. Building a Banshee from scratch is a do-able concept and may have it's need in the future, I just don't see it as a strong investment just yet, but getting all the contacts and sources may be. Dune

Ben, I don't understand why Yamaha would have to be involved.They will not cease production of parts that sell.Sourcing is not a problem on anything else.Building the powerplant will be custom to each application anyways,correct?There are many connections out there that have the ability to build ground-up Banshees in any form.Keeping the Banshee alive(which is what your after i think)is not at all far fetched or difficult to obtain from my point of view.It would be gathering of needed suppliers and guarantee of production #'s to keep cost down for the end product"like a Shee". I'm with debris on track, be it whatever it may be the right line of the lane allways seems to have more than the left and no matter where we race the bikes tend to go to the right slightly or sometimes sudden. If you ever run a bar, you will really start noticing it. Dune
