No matter what type ridding you do,there is a port design that will work for you.Patriot is,of course,well known for his quaility and performance.You may even check with CP5899 on here,his porting works great.I've got work done by Charlie Ohton,he is super cool.Do some research,talk with the person(s),and make a descision.. A motor doesn't have to be electrical,the term motor is something that is driven by another source of energy(other than its own).But,as it is used by so many in the other word usage,your not going to catch any flack(imo).The advertisement folks have been calling engines motors for many many years... i.e.motorcycle/enginecycle sounds kinda' funny.. go for it.....

Ok,if your doing paint or something cool like that,then leave some plastic back there.If you need your bike on a diet,then there will be more than just the rear fenders missing,there is some weight in the seat that can be lost as well many other weight issues that get expensive....I say leave some plastic,but if your into drags,you can take em' off and put em' back on...try it out....
