I am needing the following parts for a couple of projects: Kick starter Rear foot brake Clutch lever (not stock) Or, give me a good price on the second pic plus the rear foot brake and clutch lever included. Make it easy on both of us.

From what I saw of the work he had going, you'll be happy. Some of the cleanest porting I've seen. On the way home I stopped in a little town 40 miles away ( to have a couple cold ones) and a guy at the bar even said Jeff was top notch. Enough talking him up he's good!

I only spent about 30 bucks. He knows I'll be back though.

I visited F.A.S.T. Racings shop yesterday and was very impressed. They stock every part you could need for a Banshee motor along with a ton of after market parts. Jeff showed me some of his projects he has going for customers like porting and engine building. They had lunch ordered and called and cancled the order so they could spend time with me. I would recomend these guys for any work or parts you need. Thanks

This has turned into a rather interesting topic. Since I started this, I will contact the maker of jb weld and have them give me the low down and tech data on it. Sounds like it may be good to know.

Thanks for all of your advise. This guy wanted to try something rather than replace a polished cylinder. I'm bidding on a couple sets on eBay and will send them out for porting. I've heard a lot about Dave Moore racing, any comments? Madjimmax, were cool. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree with buying a new one if the person is willing to spend the cash. This guy wanted to try some other options with no guarantee. I do build engines and have never seen this. I don't do port work. And, these cylinders were ported by company (starts with a T) about 4 years ago and just started leaking. Don't assume your fellow HQers are dumb asses!

The hole very small. You see some daylight looking down through the water jacket into the intake. I've already put some jb weld down into the water jacket and left it about 1/4" thick at that point. I think it will work fine. Thanks for your thoughts!

Look at my post in for sale not banshee from about a month ago.

If my porting broke through into my water jacket, can I epoxy that through the jacket?

Anyone out there have a stroked bottom end 4 sale. Or maybe the hole motor. Would like a 10mm but may go back with a 4mm with 115 rods. I'm tired of trying to piece one together. If you have some top end parts cheap, I may buy them for another motor to build. Let me know! No stupid prices i know what things are going for.

I have a 1988 250R that is real nice. lots of chrome, and polished parts. 310 kit, plus 4 swingarm, chrome a arms, chrome steering stem, polished foot pegs, kick starter, scoops, side cases. Factory plastic, with headlight hood, ESR pipe.. Looks great and runs the same. I have well over 10k in it and have owned it for 8 years. Send me an email address and i will send pictures.
