  3. Just wanted to share some pics. Its odd the camera captures the blues at different shades, in real life all the blue is pretty close to the same color.
  4. Yay got it started, destroyed a plug wire somehow !! But it seems that I ripped the seal for the carb bowl in my rage :( :(.
  5. Well just did a compression check and 130 and 131 could it still be the top end? Also its sparking pretty good even with the rusty ass flywheel only thing I can think of is it hates the new 2stroke oil:( P.S. I would edit the posts but it seems like the edit button vanishes after a few minutes?
  6. Yeah it looks pretty bad.
  7. And Plugs look fine, it will roll in gear with the clutch and natural. I know that the stator was a little rusty last year when I pulled it apart.
  8. Hey guys. Well I pulled the Shee out of the basement a few days ago, started right up was running great at the bottom end but right when it hit the power band it would make this sputter sound (Sounds like hitting a rev limiter in a car). Well I figure because the gas was sitting for awhile it was just shit gas. I drained all the gas filled it up with new gas and I switch to Bel-Ray MC-1 (Because my local store stopped carrying the Yamaha stuff.) I took it out for a few laps and it still wouldn't go into the power band. So I fired it up last night to mess with it for a bit it was idling and it just stalled out I couldnt get it to crank so I pushed it to the top of a hill and pop started it' when it fired up it had like 0 power at full throttle it would barely move. So I took the carbs apart they were clean (Cleaned them anyway). Still wont start
  9. Thumbs up I love it What is holding the plastics on and where can I get them?
  10.  LoL. You still have it?
  11. Aircraft stripper while nasty, will take all the paint off.
  12. The way I get stuck screws out is use a ratchet and put the screwdriver bit in the socket forget what size. put lots of pressure on the head and twist slowly if it starts to strip add some heat and do again. Works 90% of the time.
  13. Looking for a frame and title within 100 miles on Philly.
  14. Being in the Marines myself, I LOVE THAT SEAT. (Could do without the patches) How much to wrap mine like that?
  15. Where do you get that coolerholder?
  16. You should grind these to So this doesn't happen I was working on my shee had the plastics off, went to go test it. Sure enough thats the time I fall off the back and that bar is razor sharp. just sliced my leg clean open.
  17. Anyone who runs into the same issue, there is spacers lol.
  18. Hey guys, I bought the quad with the rear brake removed, so i've been trying to put it on and am having trouble. It seems the brake stay is to far left or the rotor is to far right? I could just put some washers on the bolts that hold the caliper on to push it out a little bit. Here some pics
  19. Man that was hard, so for anyone else that finds this maybe through google or something. Suzuki 250r 1988 seems to have the parts needed. http://www.partspitstop.com/pages/OemParts#/Suzuki/LT250R_%281988%29/REAR_CALIPER_%28MODEL_F%2f%2fG%29/01340004/5601340067 For google: Yamaha Banshee caliper pins, caliper bolts, brake bolts, YFZ350 caliper bolts, YFZ350 Caliper pins.
  20. Thanks for the hand holding Hah. But seems I need two more parts. http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/All%20Terrain%20Vehicle/2001/YFZ350N%20-%20BANSHEE/REAR%20BRAKE%20CALIPER/parts.html 8 and 13 look right? Thanks again for the help guys.
  21. Dude you're the man. I have like 13 Ebay tabs open and I couldn't find that thing rofl.
  22. Is there no way to edit this? Anyway, yeah i'm missing the rear caliper bracket also. I can't seem to find it anywhere :-(
  23. Awesome, i'm guessing there is some plate this mounts to? Sorry I bought it and it was tied to the frame off the rotor.
