  1. Hey guys, I bought this quad used, and i'm trying to find a rebuild kit for this caliper. Its Nissin and the only markings I can find on it are 34 or 84, 7h and a 2. Its the rear caliper.
  2. Hey everyone seen a bunch of posts on here with people that just bought the vapor. I'm looking for a review for someone who had it awhile. Does it stand up to constantly getting wet/muddy? Did the glued on speedo sensor stay put after riding it for awhile? Stuff like thank Thanks, Matt
  3. Wow. 12s at 101. You must have awesome 60ft and 1/8th times. Back when my car was stock I was running 13.6 at 103 with a 1.9 60ft.
  4. Well i'm getting a trail tech vapor, has a temp gauge also.
  5. Seen this happen on a diesel that pop started itself. The block cracked because the water pump does not work in reverse on a detroit diesel so I would watch out.
  6. So just make sure the rad is filled up and I should be fine? Thats good to hear. I've been beating this thing for the last three days and was like shit it must be overheating!
  7. Looking from the front of the quad, The top right hose from the rad goes to the top port on the expansion tank. the top left hose goes into the top of my cool head the mid left hose goes to the front of the head, bottom hose on the rad goes to the water pump
  8. Hey guys I was just cleaning my quad that has some mods to it and noticed the expansion tank was empty. I filed ot with some water and let the quad get up to temp the water stayed crystal clear so I popped open the rad, it was full to the cap. I started to follow the lines and noticed the bottom line just vents top one is hooked up to the rad. is that right? Wouldn't I just be loosing coolant then? The quad doesn't seem to overheat. So where is it supposed to be hooked up if anywhere?

  10. Its a 2001. Thanks for all the help trying to make a parts list for the quad so I can get all the manuals and junk. So please keep them coming if you see anything.
  11. This is the first quad I have ever had. I have no one of getting in touch with the original owner and I'm trying to figure out the brand of all the after market parts. I know about the head, and intake. I'm guessing the shocks are aftermarket also.   14. Ahh thanks for telling me. This is the first two stroke I have ever worked on. I just can't seem to understand how I can get proper A/R ratios with no sensors.
  15. Would one of the tail pipe wideband o2 sensors work for this to make it easy to get my air/fuel perfect?
  16. nevermind on the airbox found the whole thing on fleabay for 35 bucks there is still two left if anyones looking.
  17. LoL well I was kick starting it and my foot slipped and I busted my ankle pretty good, I swore I would buy an electric start if they had one. Hehe. The only long throttle I could find was a billet one. I only see two sponsors listed http://bansheehq.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=35. The airbox is the biggest thing right now because I think i'm sucking up water. I'll call Yamaha in the morning.
  18. I drive through alot of water and my 01 Banshee 350 doesn't have a airbox cover and it gets the filter pretty wet. I want to buy a New extended thumb throttle, New plastic, Airbox cover, electric starter (If they make them, no custom work). Pretty much i'm looking for a big online store i've seen the two sponser sites already.
  19. Ohh two other things. Neutral is super hard to get into, I have to use my hand. Every other gear is fine. When the clutch lever is pulled is still moving just a tiny bit. Seems that the clutch isn't engaging all the way.
  20. Hey everyone just came into a 2001 Banshee 350 Twin carb (I think that what its called) Its been sitting for a few months. I have no information from the last owner on whats done to the quad but I got it running.Ohh and note I have diesel and auto mech skills but have never worked on a 2 stroke. So from reading the stickers on every thing it says it has "Pro design cool heads" "KEIHINS CPW Carbs" and Toomoy T5 Exhaust. So yesterday I couldn't get it running figured out it was a fouled plug so I fixed that. Today I took it out and it was running pretty good jumping over some crap going through pretty deep puddles air filter got a little wet but it was still running fine till I hit the road and it would bog at full throttle in 3rd and above :-( Hoping its just because of the wet filter. I also changed the fuel from whatever was in it before unknown to Honda HP2 32:1 mix. The spark plugs are gapped 0.30. Sorry this post is all over the place. I guess what i'm asking is: 1. Do you think the bog was from a wet filter? or gas change? 2. Where can I find the bolts for the rear break caliper? 3. Are the heads, Carbs and Exhaust crap or decent? 4. What kinda maint. should I do to a quad thats been sitting a few months?
