it time to repack my stingers i have a set of fmf pc2's how much packing do i need and does it need to be fmf packing or will any packing work thanks

im going to do this week i just wanted to know how much packing i need and if it needs to be fmf packing or are all 2 stroke packings the same thanks

you should look into e85 ethanol corn fuel if you have it out by you it should be less than $2 a gal and if im not mistaken its the same as c12

try unpluging the tors box under the tank if you still have it i had the same prob and that worked for me

You use so much more gas because you're so much faster then everyone else. i know my friend has a trx 450r and he put a cam 14 to 1 comp piston and runs e85 and was talking shit but i still beat him

its just a pain in the ass bringing extra fuel in a book bag every time i go out unless i ride with people with 4x4 with racks to strap a can to time to get a bigger tank

we went out on like a 45 mile ride today on some tight woods 1st-3rd gear,pipe lines,train tracks and roads 4th-6th gear and i used just under 2 full tanks of gas i have a 97 with gnarly pipes powercore2 sliencers cool head stock carbs with tors removed pro design air filter with air box lid on 260 or 280 mains i just want to know if this is alot of gas to use or is that a normal amount i ride with guys with 450s and they only used about half of one tank on the same ride the carbs are not over flowing and gas is not pouring out the vent tubes on the sides of the carbs thanks for the help

why do the bottom arms need to be cut they look like they will bolt up maybe i missed it somewhere

well my bike is fixed i unpluged the box for the tors and kicked it just for shits and haha's and wow spark the bike is running great now thanks for the help guys

my bike had spark on the right side when i pop started it the last time. im wateing for a friend to get here so i can try to pop it again and switch the plugs to the other side and see if the left one runs. now i changed the boots it has none i can put my hands on the plug and kick it and not get shocked WTF??? i should have sold it when it was runing like my friends said and bought the new yfz450R

im on the way to get a compression tester now. what should the compression be for a motor bored 10 over? i dont understand how no spark can mean i have a bad piston but ill check it anyway thank you all for the help

ok just replaced the boots with the ones you said, still no spark, looking at the bike from the right side the orange wire goes to the front and the black to the back? whats next the wires? also sanded down the gorund for the coil where it bolts to the frame
