  1. there is no way to check the cdi. but if everything else ohms out ok then thats the problem(says the man that wrote the clymers manual anyways)

  3. im having this same problem. i put a new ignition coil in it and it ran for a while. then we pulled it back into the garage, checked everything we think its the cdi so we ordered a hot shot. hopefully it will fix the problem.

  10. hey guys. i was wondering what your opinions on extended j-arms are. i have a j-arm shee and the ball joints are shot. i was thinking about building custom a-arms and doin a conversion. building j-arms seem like the easier way out (no frame mods). I ride alot of pits and like jumping. im a light rider. around 120 lbs. will they be strong enough?

  17. ok, sorry for the double post. i forgot i posted it before. and they do come from the throttle. im new to banshee, so i was wondering if i have the tors eliminator kit then why do i still have those wires?
  18. im pretty sure its coming from the master cylinder. the wires are butt conected to other wires. also my quad has the tors eliminator kit. p.s. sorry for the double post

  20. hey guys, theres 2 wires that come from my front brake master cylinder. my lights dont work so idk if they're brake lights or what. What are they? thanks in advance guys.
  21. there are 2 wires that come from the front brake master cylinder on my 1990 banshee. my lights dont work so i cant tell if theyre for a brake light or what? do any of you guys know wat theyre for?
  22. this sounds like a problem im having. my key swetch is removed and the wiring looks like crap. ill have to check everything now

  24. well i do have to kick it until my boot is ready to fall off, ill try to do a compression test this weekend if i have the time. the guy i bought it off of said he had just reringed it...but he was a hack. totally screwed me over. i guess te compression tester will tell me truth
