i was wondering, i have a stock bike. have fmf's but other than that, stock. was wondering the best way to get the most power with the stock crank.

i traded a blaster for a banshee that the top end blown up. had the same problem. one piston was severly messed up. the cylinder has a nasty knick in it. it was stock bore, and had to bore it out to .40 over. i didn't have any problems with the crank but it is a good idea like the others have said to get it inspected or even trued and welded. i went through a local shop here for top end kit and with everything that i needed including gaskets and such was around 500. i am aware that i over paid. great time to get prot work done since the top end is apart. are you running a cool head?

i am thinking about putting 18x10x8 on the bansh. i mainly do hill climbs and trail ride. just hope i don't get too much wheel spin...

so if it is bad for traction, what would it be good for?

just a +4 timing plate with coolhead. k&n pod filter. thats it. i wanted more top end so that is why i switched. i have read that fmf's give more power top end while pc's give more bottom end.

what are the pro's and con's of switching to a 8" rear instead of the factory 9"?

okay guys, i have 2 sets of pipes. one set are pro circuits and the other set are fmf fatty's. both are in GREAT shape. would trade both sets for cpi's straight across. another deal i would be interested in is trading the pro circuits for some v force 3's. let me know...pm me for pics....
