Im just tickled shitless that all im bringing is my bike and a couple gas jugs and a cooler. I dont have to pull a trailer or nothing, just the bike in the back of the truck and thats it. I get tired of hauling everyone's bikes down all the time and this time its just me. See you all when I get there. Ive done both the "break in heat cycles" and the ride it like your gonna ride it break ins. With the heat cycles I could never get the rings to set and the compression was always low. Ive done that method twice and both times didnt work. The other times, I let it warm up and ride the damn thing like Im gonna ride it aka HARD. Never have had any problems wit the ride it like u stole it method. But u do what makes u feel the best. I mix my fuel at 36:1, but stick with a 32:1 and u wont have any problems. Its all up to you how you break in ur engine.

Just spend the money on a coolhead. You'll be glad you did. You can change domes if you wanna bump the compression up etc.

I recently traded a complete yfz450 front end to Nick for a set of elkas. I havent even gotten the shocks yet, but this is a good dude. We landed the deal monday and he shipped the stuff tuesday. I have no doubts about the shocks. Very good at communicating and keeping me up to speed on what the status was. Very respectful on the phone and good guy to talk to. To anyone who does business wit Nick in the future dont hesitate to deal wit him cuz he's the real deal.

Run, the regular bowls are on the carbs, I sold the oversized bowls to NYUK. If I had an extra bowl I'd just give it to ya, but I been selling off all my xtra banshee stuff to fund this 450 longtravel project.

I bought an 05 yfz 450 last week and in the works of upgrading the suspension to longtravel. I got houser +2 longtravel arms, just need longtravel shocks. I do not want anything fancy, just something simple like an elka dune edition stage 1 or works entry level shocks. I have a complete yfz 450 front end (shocks, a-arms, tierods and maybe spindles I would trade for a set of longtravel shocks. Depending on what you have, I would throw in cash along with the front end.

Well if ya do anything, dont sell em to "shee in 805" LOL!! That stupid fucker blocked me from responding to him
