  1. Missed out on those^^^

    Bump

Damn, too bad you diddnt already have A-arms because 125 shipped for works shocks is an awesome deal! If i had the dough i would buy those in an instant!

  2. well that usually happens when you remove the overflow tank, mine is removed so sometimes when its hot and idling a little bit will spurt out but i believe that is normal. I think the overflow tank is just a catch can, i dont think it puts the coolant back in the radiator if im not mistaken. once you start moving and get some good air flow in the radiator it should cool down the coolant and stop dripping. a billet impeller should help with that (which i plan on getting 1 day) I was also looking into an in-line temp guage. It would be nice to know what my temp is at. As for our clutch issue it might be the push rod like "banshee bitch basket" said. hahaha, that almost sounds like an insult lol.

  3. i use synth all the time if its for wet clutches its fine. if its really not and ya think its for the the newer four strokes. what about when guys put in r1 clutches and stuff. but any oil is fine but change it regularly i personally like gear oil over atf or motor oil

I really dont know but maybe R1 clutch plates are a little different material that acceps friction modifiers? Like I said I dont know for sure but i was just thinking that since the bashee clutch is so much older than an R1. R1 came out in like 2000 right? and the banshee in 1987, just a thought. All I know is that i was told many times that synthetic is a NO NO. But hey if it works it works. 1 question though, are you changing it at the same interval as using reg oil? If so whats the point of using synthetic? i know it doesnt break down as fast but if you are changing it regularly............

  4. Running Belray Gear Saver for tranny fluid. Anyone else using it?

I hear good things about belray, what weight is that? 80, 85? Belray makes good stuff. I was just saying in that other clutch post that I have some extra honda 85w gear oil and was wondering if thats ok to use or if anyone has used it. Damn, me and you are like thinking the same today lol

  5. I also have an aftermarket E/Z pull lever, but i dont know if that is it. Have you replaced the clutch lately? and if so did you use the stock springs? i did when i changed mine cuz i diddnt want a hard lever since i ride trails

  6. Had not thought about that, I think it has 10w 40 mobile one full synthetic motorcycle oil in it right now.

Oh man, thats a big NO NO!! you cant use synthetic on these things man. Sythetic oils have friction modifiers wich is bad for clutches, it wont grab as good as regular oil causing it to wear prematurely. I would give it a few oil flushes with 10w 40 REGULAR or some people like ATF type F. But yea this is most likely your issue. Hopefully your clutch isnt smoked. How long have you been doing this?

  7. ok, well you already have a +2 axle in the rear, i dont think its necessary to go wider than that in the rear. You could flip your fronts though, VoOK has it and im planning on doing the fronts as well. The only thing is the valve stem will hit the caliper so you need to dismount the tire, drill a hole and mount a valve stem on the inside of the rim and flip the other one inside out so it soesnt hit the caliper.

  8. pipes i intend to get some shearer or cpi.... whichever i can find thats not an arm and a leg first lol and for carbs i have 28 pwks guess i could have said that

Ok, well you got a lot of different opinios on this one for sure. are you running stock reeds right now? if so, personally i would go with some VF reeds, I think it would compliment your mods nicely. But thats JMO

  9. different pipes and carbs is like a grand, that is a huge price difference from 200 dollar reeds. i bought a beautiful set of VF2's from special blend for like 100-150 if i recall correctly. totally worth it IMO and i def feel a difference in throttle response and some power. If you are looking for a much bigger difference than yes go with different pipes and carbs and what not. But 97_banshee said he is looking for a little more umph.

  10. Don't forget to check your jetting as I'm sure it will be different....

Hey Jereme, Im glad you mentioned that. Can I ask what you thing we should be running for mains? me and VoOK have basically the same mods besides his being ported and mine not. At the moment we are both runnig 280 mains stock pilots and needle positions. Also do you think that is ok for our area? we are in NJ and i believe our altitude is around 400 ft. the altitude at hatfield mccoys is around 2000 ft.

  11.

Yea the first post u sent the guy actually called Toomey and they said it wouldnt work but the silencers are the same. Off yopic, but the T4 silencers were almost double the size of T6 and T5's. Either way we will let u guys know for sure if it works, wont we VOOK? you silly bastard lol :rotflmao:
