  3. Hi. I just recently rebuilt my motor. put a +4 mil crank in it and got a noss head with stroker domes and put a +1 mil larger piston in it. i need to know where to start with the carbs... when i opened up the carb the needle stuk inthe jet and i noticed the tip oftheneedle was broken off... also i noticed that there are two different piolet jets in each carb... what needles and pilots should i try ? also right now there is 230 mains in it... it has mikuni carbs....28mm i beleive... any help will be greatly appreaciated. thanks.
  4. hi. the pipes that were on my bike when i got it has bolts holding the expansion chambers together. i tried looking around some and i guess they're adjustable? whats up with this? i was thinking about tightening and loosening the bolts to see what happens but am wondering if anyone else is familiar with this?
  5. mmm...did another search..found all sorts o info..

  10. heres a link to a pdf from the manufacturer. sounds like it provides alot of flexibility and fun. http://www.dynaonline.com/skins/downloads/...ruct/DFS7-1.pdf i think im sold.
  11. hehe im pretty sure im about to order one right now. reading up on it trying to figure some stuff out about it... from what i gather it stores 4 different curves and has a selector switch of some sort? seems tits to me, figure why not...
  12. yes, its pretty much blown. the ring on the left piston got crispy due to a lean condition caused by an air leak. as you continued to try to run it, peices of the ring flew about inside the cylinder scratching up the wall and pittng the head. more continual use caused damage to the crank shaft. this caused the left cylinder to loose most of its compression causing it not to fire properly untill the condition became so bad to the point where as it does not fire at all. look on the bright side though, now is the time to make it faster and stronger. im just guessing here really. i'de just rebuild the top end, mill the head and probably have to bore the cylinders... and while you got it torn apart take the crank to a shop and have it checked out.
  13. mmm.. snopcz has me convinced so far...
  14. looking to advance my timing some and was wondering which would be better off and why? a new ignition seems really easy to install opposed to tearing apart the fly wheel and stator and such so yea...? whats up with it?
  15. i use hotrods.. to my knowledge weisco makes hotrods?
