I've never had this happen before. stopped by little sahara today on my way home and rode for about 2 hours. bike was running great At one point I stopped on the top of a dune and was watching a buggy. My buddy was riding with me and he got a few dunes in front of me while I was watching the buggy. I figured I should catch up so I kicked the bike give it some gas all of a sudden holy crap I'm going in reverse. Freaked me out it wouldn't go forward shifted gears and everything. I shut it off then started it again give it some gas now I'm back in forward. Cough up with him told him bike was running backwards. He didn't beleive me we didn't know they could do that. We rode for about one hr more then my bike started running like crap back firing badly on the low end so we started heading in. if I could get it to the power band and keep it there it would run. Made it back to the trailer shut it off. Took the flags off. he was standing there I started the bike to ride it in the trailer gave it some gas and wow I'm going backwards again he was trying to get his phone out to video when my bike went clunk and died. Tried to start it again and the kick start is broke now. Ok enough of the story so I looked on here about what could have caused it and seen alot of people say cdi and alot say timing. So I called the shop and ask what they thought i told him it does have an adjustable timing plate. he said it can't be timing. It would have to be so far out of time to do that that it really isn't possible. he said that somthing in the cdi is sapose to keep it from running backwards but they can fail. So i guess I'm probly gonna be replacing whatever broke and checking the timing plate just to be sure but should i replace the cdi as well.   8. 2 questions I got the carbs off the bike they have 148 mains looks like m45 pilots can't get them to stop leaking even while the bike is running leaking out both sides and the bottom. Is there a certain way to set these floats. The bike has a la sleeve 409 mono-block complete big bore kit. Cpi out of frame pipes. It runs really well pulls hard. I'd like to put this motor in a regular frame. And get some different pipes. But i know nothing about the motor or the build on it.   9. Ok I tore it apart again tonight 310 Mains 27.5 pilots and needles in the middle. But I have to apologize cause I was wrong it was the floats I totally missed it the other day when I had the carb off it was easy to miss cause it looked fine looking at one carb. today I took both off to check jets in both and the right carb float was up higher than the left by several degrees while sitting upside down. I matched the right to the left and bingo perfect. some guys myself including are just to stubborn to think they missed somthing.   15. I havnt opened it up yet to check stator or flywheel magnets.   19. Any riding hrs of riding or just a quick race down the road. I road for 3 hrs the other night it would run great as long as I dint go wot. Changed the plugs today just to try it. payvement road by my house 1st through 4th pulling hard 5th started to die off at wot then shift to 6th pull hard for a sec then sounds like right side just stops firing. Never seen this before is why I ask on here. I didn't post to get a bunch of crap from people thinking some stupid kid that don't know nothing. My only option as of now is to just start pulling parts off a good bike and trying one by one.   22. Ok it's not the spark plugs put two new plugs in today and tested it out again for sure the right cylinder is not firing at high rpm. intermittently fires occasionally. but what do you think this is cdi box or coil or no fuel Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

  25. Well I've decided it's really not a crappy build on the frame it's kinda a cool look and it rides well. Need to get rid of the crappy orange and new plastics maybe some small drag fronts and it's gonna be sweet think I'm gonna finish it out a bit nicer Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
