first of all i want to thank everyone for there help. I took a reading when it is hot and the stator is 23 and the pickup coil is 146 I going to see if my friend will let me try his stator out of his banshee.

Stator is 17.6 ohms and the pick up coil is 117 ohms. now iam lost if it was a gound problem wouldn't that affect the lights as well.

Have you tried putting the old timing plate back on?

spark ia not always blue which doesn't make sense to me. It has been every 3rd kick but time i can get it to run which is driving me nutts. yes I do have a meter and the retainer is on the back of the plate. The gap is set at 18 thousandths, and I have the puller made for quads flywheels. Now my question is the the magnets on the out side of the flywheel for the pickup coils is how strong should the be to me they are weak compared to the magnets on the in side of the flywheel for the stator. Is that the way they should be?

I have a 95 banshee mostly stock , cool head with 20cc dooms t5 pipes adjustable stator plate. i have fighting the problem of my banshee diying after running it up into 6th gear. when i check the spark i have little to no spark. Then it might start up and run, i have changed the coil out with a buddy of mind and it will do the same thing. i havin;t tried to use his startor yet and i can't try his cdi box because his is a different year and won;t work but doesn't this sound like a bad connection?

My banshee does the same thing but after it dies it willl fire then die in 3 sec. but wait a while and it might start up and run. this is driving me crazy. Stock all but pipes and 300 main jets.

First of all i want to say hi to everyone. My question is, if my freashly rebuilded Banshee with tr5 pipes and vforce2 reeds, cool head is not running to lean. It has 26mm mikuni carbs with 25pilot jet and 340 main and i am about 1000 to 1500 above sea level. If i am thinking right if my banshee will start on the first kick withe temps in the 80s its not to lean on the bottom end am i right?
