  1. Is there any free online manuals or microphic for the Shee? i dont own a manual at this time, and i never changed the clutch on a shee before and want to see how its done. I got a clutch from REDLINE, i am putting a bearing in instead of just one ball,(i may be wording it wrong) the guy there told me its better for if you wheelie alot and or corner you can starve it of oil and it go bad. thanks in advance, i dont know if i should of put this post in another area or not??? thanks
  2. That sucks, man! I am sure there is someone better for you out there, divorce is at a hi right now. Mine cheated on me, after i got a divorce i found out from her friends that she cheated for years on me. 2 Good things i got out of it all without a fight, i have full custody of my 2 daughters, she dont ever keep em and hardly sees em, on weekends they go to their grandmas and she may visit sometimes. It sucks for you, fighting for our country and risking yourself and have to deal with that. I am sure it will all work out fo the best for you. Stay safe.
  3. I just purchased a stock swing-arm from a seller on this board, its for a 01 shee will it fit my 87Shee? I would think they fit all years, but i could be wrong? Nothing wrong with mine, the guy i got my shee from painted it dull black and i want the powdercoat grey look again. Thanks
  4. I am putting the FMF SST Gold Series pipes complete with Power Core 2 Silencers on my 87 Shee, should i get a 27.5 pilot since you guys say the pipes like em?? Any place you guys recommend i buy em from and spare jets? The reason i ask is because i want to support whoever you guys deal with by buying from them. Thanks in advance Cant wait to see how much these pipes wake the shee up, just got to get reeds next for it. Then after some riding time i want to do some port work, i see all you guys have it done and are happy with it.
  5. Thanks i hope to get em and throw em on. I heard a set of them on at a Place called Bull Gap in michigan on shee and it sounded great, any pipes sounds good on them twin shee's. the one i heard ran like a raped ape to he was kneck and kneck with a 450 dirtbike up the sandy hill and the bike went through the whoops faster then the quad but he was able to real him back in, it sounded like the guy on the shee let off a little bit not much when he went through the whoops. i am sure the shee probably had more work done to stay with the bike like that and the 450 race version had a different silencer on it, he was amazed and went over and talked to the banshee guy saying quads dont usually run with him.
  6. I will definatly let you know. I ordered a clutch and gonna stick it in when it gets here and want to go play/test up in the trails this weekend and every weekend coming up, and hope to have a set of pipes and reeds with in the week. Next year or probably later in the year maybe i will do port work. I will have the good clutch any day now, pipes within the week, it has boost bottle i know it dont do much but it came with the bike and then stick some reeds in it and hopefully it will be a contender with them 4strokes.
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ATV-Quad-Sn...A1%7C240%3A1308 here is a sneaky pete nos kit, it looks like a joke, i have heard them for cars, but they look like co2 cartridge for a bebe gun cant believe it can work. How much of a joke is this??
  8. Brad at Tyson knows his turbo's he took a stock motored 302 in a mustang and went well into the 9's in the 1/4 mile with a turbo on a carb set up, since then he has good motor and really flies.
  9. Sounds like your Shee flies. Nothing sounds as good as aftermarket pipes on a twin shee. Ya i want to look into riding in ohio and i hear Indiana to all have cool places to ride and you just pay a fee and ride. Michigan lower penninsula trails are going extinct. I cant believe how they have Bull Gap now, and alot of trails you know and use to head to gas stations are rerouted, so now you have to plan another way to get to a few gas stations. I went up to Luzerne and headed toward mio first and traveled them trails for years and got on one i know and it wasnt the same and i had to turn back. i dont remember the number, i started on 989 trail. Thanks for all the info
  10. Thanks, ya i know i want to much, all around power i am greedy when it comes to horsepower haha. Other then changing jets when i run aftermarket pipes, do i have to change needle jet position?
  11. What jets will i need for them pipes? i cant bolt em on and jet it and ride? When i put them on should i run minimum 93 octane gas? sometimes trails only have 92?
  12. Do you still have the pipes foresale?? pm if you can. thanks  i tried to pm you and it wont let me
  13. I can get a great deal on the pro-curcuit pipes just have to get silencers which isnt an issue i will buy what all you guys recommended. What i want from my banshee is a good trail rider with lots of reliable power but yet be able to hold its own in drag races on the flats or up hills. I have a 900 cc Arctic Cat Sled and its what i like fast and handles great and whoops ass in a drag race, and gets its but beat to. I just want the most reliable power i can get. I want to put reeds in and get these pro-curcuit pipes i can get for a great deal. Then i will get the silencers with spark arrstor. probable the fmf q's.
  14. I just ordered one the guy i talked to was really helpful with the clutch and he told me to call him when i get it and he will go through it with me on how to install, i havent torn a Banshee one apart, but he said there is a ball bearing in there and he recommended another better one that stays lubricated, he said the stock one can run dry. Thanks for all the info and help. http://www.redline-racing.net/PARTS.htm
  15. I didnt see your guys input on the Barnett before i asked if it was any good. I will order a F.A.S.T since it looks like tha majority runs it. i hope i can get it before the weekend>
  16. Is this clutch from this link any good??http://www.bansheedepot.com/products.asp?cat=1 Barnett "Dirt Digger" Clutch Kit???
  17. Thankyou!
  18. Thanks for all the replies and advice. I like to do alot of drag racing anytime i can up big sand hills or on flat ground but most of time trail ride, but i want to have the power when a drag race comes my way. I had alot i could of done this past weekend, but i think i blew my clutch, i could shift gears fine just cruising but once wide open it didnt like to shift, it was inconsistant. i was embarresed, people saw a banshee and were calling me out but i couldnt even give or take a butt whoopin. Plus i am getting used to riding with my alpine star boots and its tough when you cant feel the clutch lever like you can with hiking boots or tennis shoes.
  19. I have a 87 stock shee now and wondering what pipes to buy to get the most out of it. I want a silencer with spark arrestor, the DNR are hard on us in michigan and even harder now. I want to get reeds for it, wondering if i should get reed spacers to? But i want the best pipes i can get and legal silencers. Where is a good place to order the pipes you all recommend? My buddies all ran paul turner hi-rev pipes on theirs, but i see alot more people running other kinds. Thanks in advance, nothing sounds as good as a Banshee with nice pipes and exhaust!
  20. Right now my 87 Shee is stock, but i plan on reeds this week, exhaust soon, meanwhile whats a good clutch to buy for it? Also where can i order it from? Thanks in advance
  21. Its a stock 2004 Arctic cat ZR900 EFI Sno Pro i have a 2005 ZR900 carb snow pro now, both stock. i know its a big wheelie in my avatar. Believe it or not it wasnt hooking up hard it only had trail studs on it. Flat black frame will look real nice on your Shee.
  22. Thankyou, that yellow and black on your Banshee looks good!
  23. Thanks for all your help!
