    the mattoon clutch basket is about as cheap as you can get. plus, they are really nice; has the chromolly backing plate and the bigger 8mm screws. ebay or call them... $144 shipped brand new.

    I haev a part that has cracked.... anyone know where I can buy another cheap POS??? I think Tim at stellar sells a budget swinger for like $250 or $300 bare. Not much more than the ebay special and if funds are that tight, you could just spray paint it until you could get it coated or chromed.

    i was having the same problem with mine, well started off that way. now one of them lasts about an hour and the other about a day. the bad one actually has a small hole starting where the corner of one of the paddles is starting to rip off. i called skat trak and they said it was because i was running less than 5psi so its my fault. nobody i know runs higher than 5psi where i ride, so whatever. a couple people have told me that i can smear some tire patch glue on the inside and that should help/fix it. i havent tried yet because nobody around here will dismount/mount these tires, so im gonna have to wait til i get back to the dunes so the bike shop there can do it. hope this helps.

    one word... ALKY!! people will tell ya not to since you trail ride, but if you can keep it full, it is prolly the power you are lookin for. might throw those looooong trail rides out the window, but it will make everything else so much more fun.

    a running bike for $1400 is a good deal as long as its not trashed. that one looks to be in pretty good shape really. "seen better for cheaper"... really?? i must be in the high price part of the country then. rarely do you see a decent bike selling for less than 1800 on their listed price. just my .02
