  1. now thats a jeep! how do you like those coopers? The cooper's are great! I got impatient and mounted them myself and have not had them balanced yet. They do really well offroad and they have pretty good onroad manners too! It only took one ride with me and my buddy was sold on them as well. Thanks for the compliments guys! Keep the Jeep's coming!
  2. Nice looking xj! I've always liked those. Here's a few pics of my Jeep. It's a 1979 CJ5, 350 sbc, cam, intake, gear drive, headers, T18-A 4sp w/6.32:1 1st gear, Dane 20 t-case, 4 inch lift and 33x12.5x15 Cooper's. I built the roll cage, front fenders, bumpers, stinger and tire carrier from scratch.
  3. Alf, Sorry to hear about this. This is not cool at all! I saw up above that you guys may need a set of carbs for this build, granted that second box doesn't show. I have a set of stock carbs that are in great shape with the tors removed and idle screws installed. I am just up in the Seattle area so let me know. I have a few other stock parts too. Not sure what kind of build you guys are going for, but I will help you out if I can.
  4. Those shocks do not look much better than stock in my opinion. Cascade Innovations has the Works dual rate fronts for just under $400. I think the Works would be much better for the stock arms. I just picked up a set of YFZ450 shocks myself and had Tim at Stellar build me a set of +2+1 A-arms that are very nice! I have under $700 in the whole front end. That's shocks, arms, brakelines and tierods. Just got it together and haven't had a chance to ride it yet.
  5. x2 On the Trailtech x bars, they are the best bars I've had. They have some killer bar clamps as well.
