Was it a 4oz. bottle or a 16oz bottle? I believe that yamalube only comes in a 16oz bottle which if I not mistaken that would be enough for 8 gallons of gas and that would be the problem, But if it was an 8oz bottle it should of been 32 to 1 mixed with 4 gallons which would be about perfect. To much oil would also explain the fouled plugs and poor performance. I personally mix my gas at 32 to 1 as recomended by yamaha but I have read that some of the guys on here mix up to 40 to 1 which would be a little less oil 40 to 1 is the right ratio for chainsaws weedwackers stuff like that. Do yourself a favor and go buy a ratio-rite cup that way your not guessing they are only about 5 dollars but at least you will know what you got. You dont want to find out that your not running the right ratio by your engine blowing up on you.

I dont know why they are trying to get an accurate temp from there that would be great for trans temp while sitting but how will that thing give you an accurate reading at the jug were its really needed. I think that I'll just stick to my mechanical temp gauge in my coolant line I think that will give me a more accurate temp reading. Looks like they are trying to steal an idea from Harley Davidson. The only difference is that the one from Harley is built into the motor oil dip stick seems to me you would get a much more accurate temp then in the trans. Just my 02.

This is not entirely true I also have a 2005 Harley Davidson road king with a carb and a good friend of mine has a 2004 Harley Davidson Heritage soft tail fuel injected we both live in Maryland. And last year we went to sturgis I jetted my bike before we went he assumed that his computer would take care of it and when we got to sturgis his bike didnt run worth a shit he had to rent a bike for three days because thats how long of a wait there was and it costed him $375 not counting bike rental to get remapped. OEM computers peramiters are only so big. I also have 1996 Mustang GT and when I rebuilt the motor is choose such a large lift and duration that the OEM computer would'nt even start the car. I think its great if your always going to ride the same temp. same elevation but if you live in florida and take a trip to say any place with any real elevation you'll have to make an appointment with your local shop and spend $100 to $300 to get your shit re-mapped unless your a computer geek and want to spend all your time messing with this shit. I do all my own work on everything I own and I find it a lot easier to remove a carb and swap some jets and get the hell up the road without depending on anybody else. Besides in todays world who can you really trust besides yourself. People today will fuck your shit up just so you will pay them to fix it.

I have a +4 swinger that bought from Alba Action I weigh about 225 and I ride the piss out it all hardcore trail riding and some jumping and I haven't had a problem yet. I am getting ready to do the swap and I was wondering if anybody ever moved the frame mount instead of cutting the a arm and using spacers? I have a welder and all of the equipment needed to do this and I am going to powder the frame while its apart so the grinding wont really matter. And in the long run if I ever bend some stuff up it will be an easier fix if I modify the frame. Thanks for all the help and input.

What spindles did you use banshee or 450? If you used a 450 spindle with 450r shocks you would of been good, But I believe 450se shocks are shorter then the 450r shocks, Now if you used Banshee spindles you lost about 2 inches from the get go i think and that could be fixed with 450 spindles. And you might want to check shock length with an all 450 setup including spindles you would want a shock about 18.25 inches eye to eye.

Thats what I thought. I just won a arms spindles tierods hubs and rotor for $125 and both calipers for $40 and some 2009 450r shocks 0 ride time for $400 wasn't really trying to spend no more cash if I dont have to I feel Ive got a few good deals and I know that the handling should be a night and day difference at least I hope. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I guess this is true but if you took the banshee completely apart you should know whats good and not good anything with that description should of been thrown away as soon as it was removed. Now if you plan on selling it any way you should be honest and let the people know what its really about I think people do this just hoping that the person wont take the time to mess with :shrug: :shrug: :shrug: returning it .
