  1. No it is not popping or back firing. I'm going to try these new Pro Design billet intakes w/34mm tmx carbs. Maybe with the 28's I'm starving it for air/fuel with the porting.
  2. I was thinking of buying the set to program it. I was also thinkning of setting it to +4 Now when I run it at 3 it does not rev out or keep pulling in the power band. When I run it on 2 it seems to be better but still off. I know my carbs are set good. it just seems to lack the top end. When I say I have heavy porting I mean the thing is opened up alot. I don't know who did the port work as it was a surprise to me  when I opened up the motor. I only bought this banshee for some of the parts on it for $800.00. Now I open it up and find a 4mil crank and large porting. It also had 35mm lectron carbs with it, but I sold them rite away.

  4. I'm running a Dynatech programable ignition on mine with the timing set at stock. I was wondering if I should set my timing to plus 4-6 and go from there. My mods are: Pro-Circuit pro series pipes Trinity Stage 4 head w/19cc domes Heavy porting 28mm PWK w/pods 4 mil crank 170psi both cylinders Let me know what you guys think.
  5. Would buy from again for sure!!! Great communication and fast turn around. This is how it should work every time!!
  6. What do you want for the swing-arm?
  7. I reccomend getting yourself a repair manual. You can get them almost any where. They have great pictures and explanations for you to learn. Some heads are easier than others but you should know what your doing.
  8. I have 28mm PWK carbs but no intakes.
  9. I have a set of stock carbs that are bored to 28's They have updated slides and needles. I have some douglas blue label 9" rear rims too.
  10. If you had gas pooring out of your over flows, You need to pull your carbs off and clean them. I'm sure your floats are sticking from what you said. As far as the compression goes you are on the edge of a rebuild or re-ring at least. Stock bore and head should be at 124lbs each cylinder. With your head shaved .10 you would only gain around 5lbs of compression. I would buy a good head or have yours done by a professional to be safe. One more thing tell us how you are doing your compression test. Both plugs out? Cold? Warm? Those things.
  11. I wouldn't try running two in each one. I would run 1 inchers in the rear and then nylon nut the inside. once you do all that spray carpet adhesive evenly inside. You will never have one pull out or turn on you. I forgot to mention you want to index your screws so they are facing the same way. Then you can cut the eccess off each nob for more traction. I'f I can I'll get a picture for ya.
  12. How many people do we have that ride MN?
  13. I'll take those intakes.. PM me and we can exchange info... Thanks John
  14. I'm running cheng's in the rear and Razor MX in the front. You can get a smaller tire with the razor's on front. I'm running a 4-3 pattern down the center and 8 per lug on the inside and 12 per lug on the outside. I'll try and get a pic.
  15. It started the year about one mile. In the video it is just over 1.5 miles. We make it every year and have a blast.
