I believe I read on another thread he has pipes and maybe a k&n and as of right now is running pretty lean. If this is the case you need to up your jetting soon or you will probably blow your shit up. You can try leaving the 25 pilots in it for now and adjusting the screw and if that doesn't work bump up to 27.5, there are actually a crap load of posts covering this. If you think you are capable of removing the carbs and then eight bolts total on the bowls, then go for it.

I didn't look closely enough I would probably not port those cylinders; if you think you might want cubs in the long run just buy some already ported cylinders from a reputable member on here. It is not uncommon to pick up a set of ported cylinders for the price of porting yours. The difference from non ported stock cylinders to ported is unreal, if you can ride a bike with porting and if you think you need more go to a cub. The vito's 68mm is a waste of money in my opinion.

I don't ride sand but you will probably need two sets of tires or you will wear out your paddles alot quicker. Most guys run a straight paddle tire like Skat-Trak Haulers, I don't know about the fronts but I think you could run dirt tires if you had to.
