  3. My mods are Fatty pipes, core 2 tips, KnN pods no outer wears, stock carbs with TORS removed. Jetting is 310 mains, 27.5 pilots, thanks to Jeff at FAST And my elevation is about 300ft. Problem is when its cold/or first start in a about an hour my shee will only start if i pull my KnN pods off and cover the carbs with my hand until i get a little gas on them, then it runs great no problems at all, once its warmed up i can shut it off and start it first kick. I dont get it WTF is going on? Anyone else ever have this problem? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance, Justin

  5. yeah he churched me up a bit. he was a real stand up guy on the phone. he offered his help for free, and was extremly knowledgable. ill be going to him from now on.
  6. just got off the phone with Jeff a FAST and he got me squared away on jetting. Sending me 300,310,320 mains to play around a little and 27.5 pilots all shipped priority for 34 bucks.

  8. just called the dealership to get some jets, yeah 6 bucks a piece for the mains and 17 bucks a piece for the pilots!! wtf why so damn exspensive. but guess i gotta pay it

  10. so get this i walked outside right after i started this thread and i noticed i left the gas on for the last 2 hours, so i kicked it one time and it started right up and runs like a champ. WTF??? oh and i know the jets are way to lean thats why i was running 24:1 in the gas.

Cant get me shee to start, got plenty of spark, gapped right, good compression, just wont start. fmf gold series pipes, power core 2 tips, KnN pods,190 mains, 25 pilots, pretty much stock jetting, i know there a little low for my mods. now i have been riding my shee since i bought it a couple of months ago with no problems what so ever. It all started last saturday when i went riding all day, no problems, brought it home and washed it up. i covered my filters with plastic bags and washed her. let her air dry and towel dried the plastics, went to start her and could not get her going, so i thought i might have got a little water in the carbs, so i pulled them and cleaned them up, didnt see any evidence of water, and she still wont start!!! put new plugs in it, check the choke line, bowls are on right side and stil nothing. so this morning i went on a mission to fix her, i had to push start her with my old lady and she finally started but started back firing like crazy. i rode her around a while and got her warmed up, and after that she started first kick but still back firing. i gave up for a couple hours to think and search the forums, the i got back to it. randomly i switched the 2 throttle cable lines, to where the bevell on the bottum of the slide faces the reeds and not the filters, and she started right up cold but she runs like shit and wont idle, im starting to get pissed, what the hell could it be. please help Thanks Justin P.S. sorry for rambling on an on

  14. I'm looking to have my cylinders ported, but i cant decide who to have it done by and what port to get. I ride mostly MX, trails, and some wide open feilds. I just want to know who you guys, and gals, thought would be the best to go with, and what port. Oh and randomly my mods are KnN pods, FMF gold series pipes, and core 2 tips. Thanks in advance Justin
  15. it idles fine but at higher speeds like the top of fourth, it just acts weird like the plugs are trying to foul out. i cant really explain it any better than that. i just wanted some input on the jets b/c i will already have the carbs apart, just a reference point for me.

  17. my shee is down for the count right now. i rolled it and broke the handle bars and the damn parts store doesnt open until tuesday AHHH. while its down im gonna rebuild the carbs and just clean the whole thing up. N E ways i have an 03 shee stock internals, FMF gold series fatty pipes, power core 2 tips, TORS removed, and KnN air filter pods without outer wears. I was wondering at about 335 feet above sea level my mods and runnig 32:1 yamalube oil with 93 octane, what do you guys think the jetting on my shee should be? BTW i have no ideal what it is currently i just bought it 3 weeks ago.
