bore size is 65.00mm current but suggest boring to next size. kinda wanted to sell the cylinders, and head and domes as a package. cylinders domes head $325 t-5s $290 still dont know what i want for the bottom end. it has 95% polished clutch cover. lightened flywheel. advanced timing. moves freely. ive never split the cases though, and the cases have never been broke. or cracked. -

Selling my old engine parts...I recently upgraded and bought a stroker motor so im trying to get some of the cash back.. Cylinders are 90% polished on the outside, and ported i believe a mild dune semi aggressive port...by C&M Customs. The head also comes with the cylinders..One of the domes needs replaced they are 19cc The Head is a TorqueLine head built by RK Tech. I need to wipe some of the polish and grime off sorry there kinda dirty in the picture. Current bore 65.00mm Also selling my Toomey T-5s have small pitting on the inside of the pipes. no dents. There used Im not gonna say there in perfect condition cause they aren't they are used, they still look nice. just has some small rust pitting on the inside of the pipes. the stingers i polished and look awesome although. Selling my bottom end also...The reason i pulled this motor out it started to backfire..it still ran but i knew somthing was wrong and pulled the carbs and reeds out and found the bottom of one of my piston skirts was broke. Motor still moves really freely. msr clutch for your stock alloy....what do ya got....just dont like this one its more of a three finger type some ppl like tho...just lookin for a longer straighter one...the tape in the pic doesnt mean anything..

Looking to trade my t-5s plus some money for your big bore shearers or cpi's...these pipes are used no dents just some pitting on the backside and little on the front...not by any means new looking but still look alright...i polished the silencers they look pretty good...just cant get some the pitting off the inside of the pipes...also there is a small weld on the flange of the left side pipe that broke that i rewelded...these pipes are deffinatley not for show thats why ill pay some money in the trade.. im having trouble with putting pics up so email me for pics if your interested..

Im thinking the same...i know how corrosive it is, as i deal with it at work. I dont have any friends that run it in there quads. but know alot of guys that run it in there modified cars at the dirt circle track, alot of these guys are switching to E85??? anyone ever heard of this? my boss was telling me some guys at the track are switching to it cause its lets corrosive. theyll burn less fuel, but still get to run higher comp.

The real reason i want to run alcohol is..where i work we have a methanol tank, and easily available to me for under $2.00 a gallon verse race fuel at $8.00 a gallon. Really ditch the T-5s huh? I would totally but like i said my engine is in the shop right now. I dont have the extra $500 to throw at it for pipes..but i definatly believe u guys and probly will down the road when the motor is done. Dont know the squish..as the motor is being built right now the engine builder is asking me what i want. i want to run alky cause is cost effective for me and easily availible. I know you guys are the pros so...let me know...Alky or Race fuel? too much hassle with alky? The motor was ported & polished previously to me owning it..i believe mostly duning port? Its not gonna be a drag bike, but who doesnt drag in the sand right? I want the ridabilty and still be able to drag my friends and other banshees in the sand...but by no means is it gonna just go up then straight back down.. Thinking maybe ill just convert my stock carbs to alcohol and see if that works out??? 39mms seem to big for my stock cylinders but was wondering cause i can get a good price on em???

wondering if keihin 39mm alky carbs are too big for my 4mm thats currently in the shop. it has t-5s, port polish, vforce reeds. be riding it mostly in sand.

Going to 4mm whats better short, or the long rods? is there a difference in power?

i thought i had the same problem as u. but i took the carb and reeds off the side it was throwing flames out the back. and found out bottom of one of my pistons was broke. it would still run, but might want to check before you do more damage.

i have an aftermarket head. all it says on the top is Torque line with an arrow. i damaged one of the domes. and need to replace it. However i cant find anything on this head, or find the dome replacements. the domes have four holes attached to them for the studs. and the outer piece sits on top. Anyone know what im talking about?? or where i can get replacement domes? i wish i had a picture looks just like a polished cool head but the domes have holes for studs...

banshee 4mil stroker port questions

Just broke a piston on my '99 banshee...its been ported with the stock crank. So i can get a welded 4mil crank cheap from a guy i know, but ive read that after you port it with the stock crank, you cant goto the 4mil. how true is this? and if i put the 4mil in, is there just some small porting i can do to make it work right?

Thanks for the opinions..I didnt know that about the boost bottle. I ride mostly gravel roads. some sand. alot of the guys i ride with have 4 stroke quads and 4 stroke dirtbikes. they smoke me off the line..probly due to some tire spin, but cant hang in the top end. obviously right. except the honda 450 dirtbike in the top end. I like the gearing i have 15 41 with 20" tires. i dont mind that they beat me off the line but would like to catch em before i hit fifth gear. So would carb size and brand should i get that would work for my setup? and say i did go a bigger bore or stroke down the road i wouldnt want to buy the carbs twice, so whats a good size? also are the vforce reeds worth the money? would i need em if i went bigger carbs? would it be better to get the reeds now? then when i did get the bigger bore or stroke down the road get the carbs then? If i did go bigger bore it wouldnt be anything radical probly just like 400cc somthing like that. I run 50/50 race gas right now. so if i went smaller domes they are not very expensive. and ran straight race gas. would i be able to really feel that? Also i was wondering maybe if i get carbs converting to alcohol with smaller domes...methanol is easily avalible for me at work and 1/4 the price of race fuel. but none of my friends have ever ran alcohol, so i dont really know the benifits of it. other than it runs cooler. So should i think about carbs that can run alcohol? or is that not right for my banshee?
