  1. Well guys and girls, I've been thinking of passing on the bearing business to some younger person. Now that I'm pushing 40, I'd like to branch out into other areas of ATVing and would like to offer someone the chance to get in on the ground floor of the ATV bearings business. I am willing to sell or trade my entire book of business to someone who really wants to do it and not just think about it. The cool thing is, I'm willing to even trade so there wouldn't have to be a big cash outlay. Email me if you're interested... [email protected]
  2. Where do you live? How about some pics of the frame... [email protected]
  3. I've got a set like new... [email protected]
  4. The splines are all the same on the yamaha sport models BUT the 89 banshee hub bolt pattern is not the same as all the other years. It has the same bolt pattern as the front wheels so you should probably get almost any other year banshee hubs except the 89.
  5. I'd like pics of everything but the plastic and axle... [email protected]
  6. Bought it used, rebuilt it, broke it in, 6 months later it locked up, partin' it out. I sold the carrier, axle and hydro brakes I made for it. I never took the head off but I think it's the crank. But it's got to go. I was thinking of putting a sled motor in it and making it a street legal trike. I've got most of the drive train figured out in my mind but could use the coins or banshee stuff.
  7. I have an almost complete 2002 Blaster with a bad engine. Email me for pics and for deals. I live North of Chicago so it's not an impossible drive for yuh. [email protected]
  8. Yeah send me a pic too... [email protected]
  9. Got pics?
  10. I'm pretty sure it's 54-55 with a decent pipe.
  11. Are you putting on new sprockects when you put on new chain? If not, you are making things worse. The new chain will not fit in the old sprockets properly and will force the new chain to stretch abnormally. You also need to make sure there is NO looseness in the swingarm at the pivot point where it attaches to the frame and the carrier as well. a little bit of sloppiness will throw everything off.
  12. That's a good deal for an engine. I wouldn't sell mine for that.
  13. My 84 I had back in the day would 72 MPH on the street with no mods other than a fresh bore and Boyeson reeds. If you were closer to me, we'd be doing some serious talking.
  14. OK here's the deal... we worked out a price on some stuff {stem, side cover, upper A arms} said he needed the money bad for mods he already ordered. So I said OK I'll paypal you... he doesn't have paypal. So I send a Bidpay money order. I wait a week and nothing. Wait another couple days and he finally replies that he was on vacation and wasn't sure if the MO got there. I told him it was there. Next day he says his mom had it and he's shipping the stuff right away but couldn't remember what it was. I reminded him. Wait another week. Then he comes up with this BS about his house getting robbed. WHat makes it better is guys break into the house and steal a DVD player {you can buy a cheap one at walmart for $35 and not run the risk of being shot or becoming a prison hoe} and Banshee parts when no-one else around him has a Banshee. So tonight he says that he's going to send a pic of the money order for the refund. That's like showing a homeless guy a nice soft bed. It doesn't mean a thing until you crawl under the covers.
  15. That friggin' butt munch cannibis what ever his name is ripped me for $50 and replies to me with this... Hello sir. I have some very bad news, my house got robbed a few nights ago and they seem to have only taken my banshee parts and a dvd player. Ive been workin with the cops and what not with no lead to anything but i have gotten another money order for you for $51.00 and ill be sending that out. Your parts along with another guy's was taken and all the other parts i have... my shee wasnt touched though wich was nice. I dont know of anyone personally in the area with a shee so i have no clue. Sorry about this Why can't we get the HQ covert op hit squad.
  16. Any of you guys need trades for those flywheels? Let me know what you need. [email protected]
  17. The oven WILL destroy the sock ball joints and bushings. There is no way to replace only the ball joint either. They are one piece with the A arm.
  18. 233 posts and this guy nails it in 1 paragraph. You are the MAN
  19. cuz they patch that crap up and sell it as new. My dad ordered a truck once that was damaged in shipping. They said they'd give him undercoating for the inconvenience. He said forget it and ordered another truck.
  20. Well I'm pretty darn sure this stuff will... http://www.docs.citgo.com/msds_pi/590906.pdf http://www.citgo.com/Products/LubesOils/My...Agriculture.jsp I use the JT-5 it resists water, rust, heat, cold and leakage, yet the oil is not very thick. It pours almost like ATF but it's sticky like filter oil. I figure an oil that can be used in a dozer or other heavy equipment that takes more abuse in an hour than I could give my banshee in a week is good enough for me and like I said it's about $8 for 2 gallons. Maybe my math is off but isn't that $1 per quart? Cheap AND good. That doesn't happen very often.
  21. Send me a pic and let meknowif there's something in particular you want... [email protected]
  22. Fuel lines are not clear. Pull the fuel valve and make sure the screens in the tank are clean. Better yet, remove the screens and put in-line filters in so you know when they're plugged up. The problem could be that when it's not running, enough gas soaks thru the junk in the screen and fills up the bowl, then you run it and it uses up the gas in the bowl and dies. My ATC I had back in the day would run until I got to the end of the street and then die. I would push it all the way home and it would start on the first pull
  23. So far this guy hasn't come across with the parts. Did anyone else deal with him?
  24. I've got a brand new one. Send me an email... [email protected]
