  1. i have a +4 on my 4 mil with mild port and sst's and it will sometimes still pack the front
  2. they will have to be split to change anything other than the shift star and shift shaft, not sure about which wear first ...but make sure to check all the snap rings and washers when ur into the tranny
  3. most tranny problems are because of worr or bent shift forks.but i have seen cracked shift drums in overrides
  4. I found them on ebay if it is a real pic of the piston it is a namura,taboo or whatever is the store name..there cast ive nvr ran them in banshees but in others ive had good luck with them..and ive have a set already in the garage to try when i rebuild...and that price is per piston not both
  5. 400exs are oil cooled (thats what honda calls it)and banshees are not air cooled there liquid cooled
  6. if you mostly dragrace you should look into override trannys the will make you a little faster but really consistant ...

  9. I had the same problem awhile back..after replacing the wore forks the problem was still there another teardown reviled that 2 of the snap rings that held a gear from sliding back and forth on the transmission shaft had came out of there groves allowing it to bind-up in first gear...
  10. i have a 2 into1 setup not sure on brand but its a smooth finish with no engraving with a 34mm pj carb works great its currently on my quad..the oly thing is the intake boot has been drilled to match the bolt holes on the manifold...but still never had a problem..would like to trade to a dual carb setup..something other than stock...let me know if ur interested and ill email pics
  11. thanks AKheathen ..ill pick up spme jets in the next few days and try to dial it in ..what carbs would you recommend for my set up? Maybe anoher pj?
  12. I need some help with my jetting.. I have a 4 mill std bore shee with fmf sst pipes, a cleanup port job, vitos reeds, and a 2 into 1 intake with a 34mm pj carb with clamp on filter...it currently has a 42 pilot and a 150 main not sure on the needle... the qaud runs ok but sputters bad at low throttle and fell like it doesnt pull as long as it should... im not sure on elevation but I live in eastern ky.. anything would be helpful... Thanks
