lol "honing" I dont know what the hell i was thinking i meant taking a wire wheel and taking the burs off the part the bearing sits in has no burs or nothing just where the balls were ground between the shaft (wow that sounded completely wrong :teehee: ) but yeah ill debur it when i get my new bearings ill slap it together and see if i cant ride for more than an hour this time. any suggestions for new bearings? will white lithium grease work for them? also my carier has no grease zerk is that normal? my blasty had one.

The carier has some grooves but not bad the tube sucks is it usable or should i get a new one? i already ordered the bearings for front and rear for 37 bucks shipped. oh btw can someone tell me how to make my sig pic not so large? thanks

ok guys here are the pics it took some work but i finally got the axle out of the carier on bearing is in tact on was shreded, do you think the carier will be ok if i hone the center a bit? also what about the sleeve? Bearing carrier 50.00 is that shipped?

I already have a set of pro circuit platinums coming from a member on here, plus the low end lag i was experiencing was from the axle bearings being shreded lol

kinda unrelated but on my old blaster before i bought the tors removal kit i just unplugged em and had all my buddies (who were new to atv's) convinced it was a high tech carb/fuel injection combo designed to make the two stroke engine wring twice the amount of power per cc of engine. lol after I sold it i told em i was lying lol :biggrin:

Ok I found out what the squeaking was and why it appeared to have no low end. I tore the rear end apart and it would sem that the squeaking was actually not squeaking at all, my bike was screaming in pain as the bearings were riping themselves to shreds. Now I have to get new bearings and possibly a bearing carier I will get pics tomorrow, I am to tired right now as I have been beating on a wheel hub all night lol well post more tomorrow.

Oh and that magical transformation of color was thanks to me scraping a few layers of plastic of with a razor blade. (had to add a new reply because it wouldnt let me edit.)

I got some klots 2 cycle oil too but i wasnt sure if that happened alot lol

yep it was coming from the motor. oh i was riding through a ton of snow and now it squeeks like a mofo i wonder if the bushings are causing it. I am buying a set of pro circuit platies of a guy on here and i am getting a k&n filter of ebay i doubt very much if i'll port it maybe get a set of v forces and call it good, its gonna be a trail bike and i hate running out of gas. the clutch on this thing is so smooth compared to the blaster its unreal, wheelies on demand too i love it, i already got her stripped down im cleaning/tightening bolts and checking fluids took it across the lake about 5 inches of snow on the lake and its a dog in the snow, i think i need paddles.

Ok I got her home, she has a pro armor kill switch, tors removed, ground buster tires, dpk clutch (or at least thats what he says) and it smells as if he is running it on torco it needs a new chain/ top chain roller, rear end bearings and it will be good to go. do these come stock with mikuni carbs? just wondering because he said it has new carbs. but this thing is fast all i could ask for is more low end. I took it out to show a buddy and I was riding down the road and it pulls wheelies awesome I am gonna love this quad. I'll take some pics tonight. it does vibrate alot though. is this normal? I am not used to a twin lol

ok I am buying a set of pro circuit platinums w/ silencers and a set of k&n pods or a k&n air box filter. the temp will be between 15* farenheit and 30* farenheit the elevation is around 336ft and the quad has no other mods done to it what should my pilot and mains be? what about the clip on the needle? also what should i pre mix too? thabks for the help. :biggrin:
