  1. I also live in san diego. san marcos for exact. I don't really care for Ocotillo to much. its a bit rocky. I Mostly ride desert, but more out in Blythe by the river!! Nice washes, trails and a couple of dunes. nice and fast!!

where is this spot out in blythe you are talking about? If you don't mind sharing.

Ocotillo sucks for quads...If you do go make sure your rocking a good swing arm plate!! :whistling:

Dam marine.... you have that bansh looking sick these days. If you don't mind me asking what kind of 6pack/gas rack is that? Is that made specifically for the 916 stingers?

The one i put on my looked like shit...between the nerfs and the rack...the fuckin bike looked like a dam cadillac!! :yucky:

  2. If i could change mine it would be to 33mm pwk's.

    I am running 34 pj's on a drag port with a cool head , v-force 3's, +4 timing and some cpi's.

34's will bog first 1/4 throttle unless you dial them in just right.

I am running them with CEL needles on the 4rth clip down and 172 mains and the bitch is ripping through the whole throttle.

  3. I saw them on alba's website for $99 and they come with 3 dye packs.

I won't run those dye packs anymore. I'm guessing that I used the wrong ratio when I mixed it but the red dye was nasty shit when I went to drain it.

They run a little longer then stock so it is a good idea to use a zip tie and the metal spring like cover on your stock hose to keep the hose that runs from the bottom of your radiator to the head away from your exhaust.

  4. I scored on a polished up clutch cover. I noticed that it is the older style because of the bearings in the water impeller mount. The case of my 06 has a way nicer bearing set up.

I noticed that spin in the impeller is not as smooth and the white gear has some stress marks on the backside where it locks into the little rod.

Spent some coin on a billet water impeller and don't want to defeat the whole purpose with an inferior bearing set up.

Can the bearings be switched out?

  5. I live in san diego...about 3 hours out. I'm Gonna cruze out on sunday. I am sure I will reckignize some of your bikes out there.

  6. Depending on the version you have the install process may vary. On the version I have I remember having to put the clutch pressure plate together, then adjust the pancake, then take the clutch pressure plate (attached by the screws with springs over them) back off so I could grab onto it from the backside to sinch it tight and lock the adjustment in place. The first time I was not able to tighten it enough and it spun off into my clutch case and trashed my lockup clutch (actualy it still would probablty work fine but I decided to replaceit anyways. $100 mistake (luckily that is all)...

Fuck!!....sounds like a major pain in the ass :banghead:

Got it from cascade....so.. wish me luck!
