Good job, you saw the same issue I saw. Bowls need to be wider, not lower. Wouldnt matter if you have a gallon of gas below the jet, if it cant reach it. They wouldnt hurt, and best case may splash into the jet, but its a shortcut cheapy way out. The guy that made them will make a lil money before people figure out theyu are pointless, but then again....look at boost bottles surviving

To follow up on a previous post, I received the axle. He was hurt and the person left in charge of shipping his stuff....didn't, but he got a hold of me and got me a tracking number and even threw in the billet round carrier for the wait. Thanks TEX

If you cylinders arent scarred, you can even go only .010" over, or 64.25mm Going in small increment allows for 10 rebuilds, versus 5. BUt a good machinist can tell you what you need and by handing him cylinders and pistons will know what to do.

I have the same problem. I have a 421 cub with a cool Head. Herr Jugs cut me some 24cc domes and the compression is about 135 each side. I have ran 91 and 91/111 mix and had the same problem. Im also running slightly rich. 158 mains with twin 35mmpwk. Its done this every time. Ive tried different plugs. I just use a plug lock and that cures it. I have no signs of detonation, and no running problems. I guess my point is, it may not be detonation

No one read the question right, because anyone with any engine knowledge ignored the part of trying to put a bigger piston in hole, without making the hole bigger. Anyways, for even thinking that he can just add a bigger piston, my advice is he should never touch a motor

Ive never seen a 70 over(but not saying they dont exist), but even going 80(66mm) is fine. 100 seems to get touchy. General consensus is overheating, and a friend of mine had a tough time getting a good head gasket seal. But ran great.

You can cut the connectors to the carbs off the harness remove tors box(small black box behind radiator, and again cut wires off harness. Remove wires to thumb throttle, and from parking brake if 97 has it.

I love my cub setup. Never runs out of power. Once you get it tuned up and get the right combo of parts, its fast for drags and duning, and I have even trail rode it in Ocotillo(But I rarely got out of 2nd with the group I was with) My parts are listed in my sig. I am running a stock tranny and have had no problems, also a barnet dirt digger clutch. I dont thrash it at the hills, so the clutch and gears dont get too much abuse, but it dunes great. My cylinders just have the "stage 2 trinity port" which is essentially the casting clean up they do.

I have bought his air filters and Boss intake. I asked him if he is part of inland atv and he said no, but said he gets a lot of parts through them. Ive emailed questions about other items and have received quick responses. He is located in a dense population of quads riders in So Cal and caters to a lot of Glamis people. I would have to guess that the cranks are good, or he would get a bad rep real quick.

Thats funny, I do have a billet cap with the lil' topper thing. I'll try a regular setup. Dont have a pingle yet, but I modified my petcock so that RESERVE and ON flow at the same time, hopefully giving a little more fuel flow
