Ok when I get home here in bout an hour ill take a pic. Then ill also take a pic of my project for everyone to see what I've been workin on for the last couple weeks. The only reason I bought another shee was cause I used to own one 8 years ago an some sabatoaged it by pouring in epoxy down my crank cause an since then I didn't get another quad until I bout my 03 blaster last year an it pisses off my buddy cause I can kinda but not really keep up with his yfz450. Then I seen an add in the paper for a bunch off atvs for sale so I called the guy an sure ass shit he had an 89 shee in his barn that was parked for 4 years cause it had a hole in the piston he wanted 600 for it but managed to talk him down to 400. Like I said ill get up some pics an see what u guys an ladies think of my buy. Thanks for all the help so far everyone. You don't understand how much I appreciate all the help. I just wanna get it running cause my buddy keeps pissing me an telln me how his yfz450 that only has a pipe an filter is gonna walk all over it. He's also no support too cause he keeps saying its never gonna run ethier.

Yea it drips oil an I was going to get it welded if I could that's y I was askin to see if it could b welded or it would mess up something

Ok I discovered on my 400 dollar project banshee I bought has a small crack about an inch long. So do I need to by a new case an split the engine of could it be welded or even jb weld stick do the job.

Have u pulled the plug out an ground it an see if u r gettin spark. Make sure both ends of the plug is good to. I once had a cracked plug that got wet an the plug died.

K I finally got them bugers out they where basically welded in. Took a 5lb hammer and a 19mil socket an beat the piss out of it but to find out my rear shcock is blown and I need new bushings in the bottom shock mounat an to the top part of that banana lookin thing.

I've tried that but there's that lip on the inside an it hits agianst that an it won't go any further.

I also forgot to mention that on my buddies cat we took 4 hockey pucks drilled a hole through the center of them an then compressed the srings an took the shocks aprt an stuck them in there to give him a 1 inch lift an to also take of some of the weight from the hrdrolics to put more pressure on the springs. So far he's only blew out 1 shock in 3 years. So that might b something that u might b able to do on a grizzley to not sure but it would b a place to start. -

Hey i understand where your coming from. when i was 16 an had my first banshee i weigh 365 an was on 5'3. i put all my money in that thing just to make it fast an it was still pretty fast clocked at 83mph with a 365lb man on it. but now im 24 an 5'8 an only 180 lbs. but i have a frined thats is 6'3 that weighs 397lbs an he drives an arctic cat 400 an it does him great. so id lean torwards the grizzly in my eyes. im not trying to be an ass bout anything but my suspension on my shee when i was at 365 was almost bottomed out just siting on it. when i hit a bump it would bottom out. i myself would have to replace the stock shock atleast once every 6 months cause of my weight. -
Ok my bearings in the swingarm where it bolts to the frame are bad. So I got it all torn down an have the new parts but I just can't get out the old ones. All that's left in there is the outer part of the bearings an I've tried searching on here an google and couldn't find anything that might help me. Any help would be awsome thanks ladies an gents.

How are those ohv parks. They any fun. My parents moved to Oseola about 4years ago. Sorry bout my spelling it sucks. Like I said my 2 buddies an I are lookin for a place to ride torwards end of sept. My buddies ride a yfz450 an the other rides a 400 arctic cat. I'd be driving my blaster cause I need to get me shee resleeved an need new top end kit an new carbs I bought it broke down for 400 bucks almost 2 years ago an everytime I get money saved to fix her my gf car breaks down or I have an unxpected bill.

I'm 207.4 miles:( might b a with while trip. Where u thinkn bout comin here or us going there. If u were thinkn about comin here it wouldn't b worth the drive. You got much land to ride on. We r thinkin bout makin a trip towards the end of sept but don't know where to go.

Looking for a new set of stock rings if anybodys has got any laying around. Broke a ring an now gonna get both honed in range of standerd size an want new rings. called local shop an they want 75 bucks. i was like Holy Shizzz. Any help would be nice. thanks guys. Bob

im not sure what size jets r in it. i can take them apart an see. for the chocke tube i dont know where that is located to hook up. sorry im a newb. but yea now i got it running today but its still not hitting as hard on the right side compared to the left. both plugs r brand new. so if that chock tube isnt hooked up would that be the problem. cause when the chock is on now it will idle but as soon as i push it back in it dies right away. and again i want o thank everyone for beeing so kind an helping me out as much as then can with the lil info i know an have. bob

everthign is stock except 2 kn air filters. i emoved the parking break sensor an it revs up fine now but now i cant get it to idle. i really hate to say it but i cant even get it kick started. i have to lift the slides an do 1 lil quick spray of ethar. which in my eyes is the last case scnerio. even when i chock it, it wont start or idle. the cabs r stock ones that i got off a guy from here. then last night when i had it reved up i put it on gear to try an c if i could ride it when i put it in gear it just bogged down an then died even when i was tryin to rev it up.

ok i bought the shee complete torn apart. he couldnt figure out how it went back togther so i took on the project. so i got it all back together an know its doing that. ok there is exhaust coming out but not as strong as the left side an then itll back fire on the right an shoot a flame out the silencer. i bought a set of used carbs off from a very nice guy on the forms (ICULOKN). i was alos wounderin if maybe if i dont have the right jerts in since i live in iowa an the carbs r from i think W V or some where over there sorry ICULOKN i dont remmber sorry man.

yea the whole tors is unplugged from the throttle an that little black box. ok the sensor for the parking brake is still pluged in but i dont have the cable for the parking brake. os there a way to by pass that. an 2300 rpms sounds aboout right. also would that alos make it not fire right on the right side. thanks for all the help guys.

it wont idle worth a poo and when i rev it up it only revs not even a quarter of the way up. it also sounds like its not hit hard on the right cylinder. both plugs r new 2. so i gotta do some more research an c if i cant get it figured out. i also hve the tors system unplug from the throttle an the harness pieces unpluged an bypassed im woundering if maybe that has something to do with it.

Im lookin for stock carbs for my 01 banshee. dont matter if tors is on or not. if tors is removed if you have the cable include that into price to. thanks. bob
