LOL I forgot to put the carbs back on in the pics. I have them in my garage, so no worries for those that are interested. -

Here is the list of the mods... -brand new hot rods 4-mill crank -new 65.5 bore wiseco pistons -34mm mikuni carbs -boss billet intakes -new tusk clutch -new 2nd gear -new lock up and lock up cover -new shift shaft -new shift forks -new modquad heads and domes -clear flywheel cover(rare on banshees) -chrome works dual rate shocks -lonestar 14 inch ladder bar swingarm(chrome) -marvin shaw with coil over spring(chrome) -custom painted frame and plastics -JJandA solid play drag axle -harness is cut to give it the clean look -chrome drag light a-arms -lonestar steering stem -chrome trinity oof pipes -JJandA 3 spoke front wheels -22 inch 12 paddle extremes -timing plate -chrome foot pegs everything on this bike is either chrome, polished, or painted as you can see in the pics

here is the chain wack -
This motor is a 1987 banshee motor that has been fully rebuilt from top to bottom. It is a 65.5mm fresh bore with a brand new hotrods crank and a heavy port job. Here is a list of all the things that are done to the motor. New pistons 65.5mm bore just broke in with no more than 2.5 hours on them New 4-mill long rod Hotrods crank with 2.5 hours on it boss billet intakes lock out clutch cover and (lockout that hasn't even been installed yet check pics) Polished stator side cover with clear plexi window (can see the flywheel spin pretty neat and rare) new shift forks new second gear new clutch new billet modquad heads and domes (185 psi cold kicked out) timing plate rebuilt kick lever new shift shaft (has not been installed yet) modified shift star that works like butter new shift drum Going to be honest as usual and mention the things it needs or are somewhat messed up needs new clutch basket does have chain wack (see pics) the clutch cover is missing some bolts because the bolt holes were stripped when I got the motor (needs tapped) does not leak at all and I mean this The reason I'm selling.. I really don't want to sell this motor at all, but I'm trying to send my GF through school and need the money for my lil ones daycare (Im not rich lol) $1700 obo the reeds don't come with the motor..

I had no clue that they had made 2 different supercubs, good to know thanks...
-
when did they come out with a new supercub? What is the difference?
-
One other thing that needs to be mentioned about this dyno run is that 9600 rpms is very low for shearer pipes on a 10 mill. If set up correctly it should pull to at least 10500 if not further with the shearers JMO..
-
I did my own port job on my gals 4-mill with trinity oof piipes and it turned out great I lifted the exhaust ports and opened the intakes for the look lol. I didn't get carried away with making the exhaust port too big or anything and the bike flat out rips. I guess I got lucky or I just didn't get to carried away with it. I have to change the gearing on it now because the power comes on so much different and revs what feels like to the moon. I think anyone can pick up a tool and do some good damage if they have some basic knowledge on 2-strokes, are you going to out run the pros probably not lol
-
thanks alot. I got on works shocks web sight and didn't see a price, do you know about how much they go for?
-
Ok there is my answer, now this is making sense.
