  1. I meant a lot lower than people with my pipes and my elevation.... Haven't had a chance to do plug chops yet and i was waiting on my works shocks to come in so i can go ahead and put them on while i have everything torn apart.
  2. Well i got the shocks in the mail today guys.. They don't look half bad for the price I gave for them. The springs have a few chips in them and all but overall i am satisfied with my purchase. How much does it cost to send your shock off and get it revalved to your weight and resprung?
  3. Shorter swing arms put more weight on the back tires and allow for better traction and a shorter turning radius. Con is it makes the front end lighter so it will wheelie more and steep hills are a little more trickier than with a longer swing arm. Man if i had the money i would jump all over this. I want a shorter swing arm really bad but i am just broke right know. if this was for sale at another time i would buy it for sure......BUMP....BUMP..............BUMP for a great product and price
  4. If you are riding in tight trails, I would not go with +3 +1 a arms. When you get that wide it gets kinda hard to fit in those tight places...To each there own tho...That is just my 2 cents
  5. Well the good thing about a banshee is it will run out of gas faster than you will get tired so you get to rest while you fill it up. jk Get some +2+1 a arms, some good aftermarket front shocks (works, elka, etc), I personally don't think the banshee rear shock is bad at all. Go with a g-force extended axle, and maybe even invest in a steering stabilizer for some added comfort over some ruff terrain. I would also invest in a six pack rack to carry a fuel can or an ims fuel tank so you dont run out of go-go-juice while riding on those 6 hour rides
  6. I was doing that man and the part was a black color thats why it was like this. It is not burning coolant i have checked that. I put 270 in and it started right up and then i shut her off. I will have to do the plug chopping tomorrow. I had to run to the hospital to see my grandpa so my day got a little delayed.
  7. Ok i looked them over and they seem fine. I was just making sure they were good before I start going to bigger jets. I am going to start doing that now
  8. Here ya go man I took the reads off and got some pics for ya. I dont really know what i am looking for so tell me if they are good or not.
  9. Doing plug chops tomorrow...Starting with 280 and working my way down
  10. yeah thats what i was thinking also. thanks
  11. Ok, I went through the troubles of jetting my quad and I finally got it close i think. My question is why do my jets seem to be alot lower than everyone elses. I have: Paul turner mids Uni air filter with air box lid removed 540 ft above sea level. I am running a 200 main and a 25 pilot. I tried a 210 and it smoked really bad. My numbers seem much lower than everyone else but my quad runs really good the way it is now. it will idle really well and everything. why is my numbers so much different
  12. Yeah, thats what i was thinking also. i bought them today and i am going to see how i like them
  13. The guy had them on a blaster
  14. Yeah that is what i was thinking. I was just making sure they would be better than what i have now because i don't want to waste my money.
  15. I just got off the phone with the guy and he said that he weighed about 165 when he used them. He never had them re-valved for his weight tho. i way about 140 so........
  16. They look to be in pretty good shape....He wants $85 for them. but i am not sure what wait they are valved for. They are the works dual rate pro series.
  17. Ok guys I found a cheap pair of works shocks locally that are 14 and a half eye to eye and I am thinking about purchasing them. My question is: Would an older pair of works shocks still be better than a decent pair of stock shocks and will i notice much of a difference between the two with stock a arm length and all? Please give your advice because i am waiting to but them or not.
  18. man those tires look sick. Where did you purhase them at??
  19. For real. If you are going to call bullshit on someone at least state why and what your reasoning is. Posting "bullshit" doesn't help out the thread starter very much.
