  1. yeah there is like 4 or 5 sets in my buddies garage that he woulg gladley give me to make space
  2. yeah we are all better now  my bike healed before me. i was gonna sell it wile i was in the hospital but when i got out and seen it i fell back in love but i could have bought a new banshee for the price i payed for parts
  3. alright i just stripped my carbs right down and cleaned them and sync'd them when i put them back together. i looked at the pilot jets and it had 2.8 written on it. is that a good size? it is still bogging out from an idle and will not start when it is cold and runs fine when its warm(except from an idle. i need to know what size pilot jet to run and should i try a set of 280 jets?
  4. i am gonna take my carbs off and clean them. does any one wanna give me a quick rundown how to sync my carbs with the tors still on and without the tool? it would be appreiciated. i watched the video of how to do it with the tool and the tors off but couldn't find anything on the oldschool way and with the tors on
  5. yeah once its warmed up it starts easier. and i never looked at the box because my bike ran fine with the one carb so i didn't look to see if the box is still plugged in or not but i am gonna check right now
  6. yeah stock rims vvvvvvvvv thats her all fixed vvvvvvvvvvv
  7. thanks that is what i was looking for
  8. slides are in right(they have been tripple checked) and the choke hose is on
  9. yeah i tested theese out today an it worked fine
  10. i double checked the slides and they are fine and yeah once i get it up past idle it works fine but if i try to give it a shot of gas from an idle it just bogs out
  11. yeah i looked today and it has 260's in it for mains and i could not see the pilot jet. i adjusted the air screws to 1 1/2 and it seemed to help a bit but its still not workin the best
  12. i am putting22" tires on the back for the winter because i will be doing alot of trail riding in the snow. so my question is what size front sprocket should i put on it to make up for the bigger tires so its geared like stock? i have 14/41 right now
  13. it is a k&n filter with the lid on and the tors are still on but the wires are cut at the throttel and the tors and the box is removed the way it was with the single carb and he had the same. i am gonna check the jets tommorow
  14. im kinda new to banshee's and this kinda got me stumped. my bike started out with a single carb, unknown pipes, k&n filter with holes cut in the lid, and stock reeds. I bought my buddies fmf gnarly pipes and powercore 2 silencers, boyeson reeds and stock carbs that where jetted for his bike with the pipes and reeds i bought from him. neither one of our bikes are bored or ported but he had one of those adjustable stator plates(setting unknown) i also dont know what kind of filter he was running. i assumed i could just bolt it up and go but now my bike isn't running right. it takes like 100 kicks to get started and once it's started i have to feather the gas to get it to rev, if i just give it a shot of gas from idleing it just dies out and sucks super hard through the airfilter(sounds like a honda civic with a crazy intake)i even tried taking the filter off but it still does it. we are at sea level. i dont even know where to start like do i need a smaller jet? does anyone know what size jet i should be running? i am gonna chech tommorow and see what size is in it and see where the needle clip is at(any suggestions?) the snow is about to fly and i wanna be ready oh yeah other than from an idle it works exelent
  15. fenders cause wind resistance less wind resistance=higher top speed more wind resistance=better wheelies
  16. so i got my first banshee about a year ago. i had other bikes all my life so im used to them. after a week of owning my first banshee i let my friend drive it and he blew it up cause it was low on antifreeze. it took me about six monthes to rebuild it. cylinders, crank and everything. once i got it running i took it on one run and it worked awsome. the next weekend we where going on another run and my buddie called me and told me to come down to his house. so i was flying down to his house on the road when the balljoint broke loose. i was wide open in 6th gear. the bike just did one little shake then went right to the left and i hit a road sign on the oppisite side of the road(luckily no cars where comin) and did countless flips in the ditch. i had to crawl out the ditch by my self with a broken pelvis. luckily my friend heard me and come lookin for me. he found me crawling out the ditch and made me get on his banshee wile he shut my bike off and drove me home. i went to the hospital and they told me i broke my pelvis in 5 spots. wich is better than my bike. i mangled 1 rim, broke both tie-rods, bent 2 a arms, bent all my balljoints, bent 1 front brake disc, wrecked 1 brake caliper, bent steering stem, twisted rad, bent frame where steering stem mounts, cracked my 5.5g tank, ripped out my left footpeg, bent swingarm, broke extended axle, and wrecked carrier. i broke all that after putting $1500 into the motor! but now im all better and my bike is almost fixed just need an axle and rim.
