Hrmmm, for some reason I feel the need to respond to this comment......Lets see what I can come up with.... I got it....... Lets say a guy tries to make an electric light. He tries a 1000 different materials and only 1 ends up working. So lets call him a dumbass for trying a 1000 different materials....right? Makes sense to me, I guess ill just go back to wacking it to my Victoria Secret Avatar How do you think anything is invented? Trial and error, maybe throw some mistakes in there for newbies -

I didn't say I was even thinking of doing it....I am definitely smarter then that. I was just wondering if anyone else had tried it lol You never know what people will do! -
Ahh well, that sounds a like a good idea....Is the final product smooth though? Anyways, after making an executive decision, I decided spray paint is good enough. I mean cmon, this thing is by no means a show bike. Hell, its not even a dunes bike, Im going to be hitting trees and everything else in the woods. So, I blasted down to white metal, put on three coats of primer and 3,490,834,092 coats of enamel. If it wasn't dripping or near dripping, I decided there wasn't enough paint on them lol. All in all, they turned out good, I'm still waiting for them to dry. They are glossy as can be. One more thing, what is the factory coating on banshee parts? Is it dipped, powder coated????
-
Not a bad idea if your going to start a business or do your entire bike. But for a couple A-arms, thats big bucks. Whats this Krylon Hammer finish your talking about?
-
Any recommended paint coatings?
-
Huh....Forgot all about that. lol....Well, I will have to check lol Well wtf, how am I suppose to get around that? lol

The coolant you bought might already be pre-mixed. Or, maybe its a special coolant? Water transfers heat ALOT better then coolant. That's why there is water in coolant systems. If coolant systems were straight coolant, they wouldn't be nearly as efficient. MY 2 cents....
-
Ya, stock arms, just a standard blue color
-
I got a guy that said he would PC my A-arms for $10 - $20 an arm. Is this to much? The arms are already sandblasted. Wuch ya think?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAAH, you guys gotta watch that video. At 14.05 the guy tanks on his bike....sooooooo damn funny, one of the funniest crashes I have ever seen. Def. worth the wait. You gotta be using internet explorer to watch the video.

I would have never guessed. I greatly appreciate everyone's help here!!! I gotta finish putting the banshee back together and take her for a ride..... Accomplishment feels soooooo good!!!! -

Slot in the cable keeper? Lost me there. I know what the hole in the slide is, and I can see it through the glass on the carb, but the slot in the cable keeper???? I will blow them out tonight and give it another try. I dont remember which carb is missing the bronze tube, I guess im hoping for the right carb to be the missing one. If I do have to replace the tube what do you recommend? -

Well, I am open for ideas. I just put new plugs in, took the timing back to +0. Still nothing without a shot of juice from carb clean. Im convinced its starving for fuel, not sure why. I have had these carbs apart sooo many times, so many tanks of gas, I doubt the pilots are clogged. If your saying its a bad air leak, wouldnt it be causing more problems? The bike has ran great with the new jets, it doesnt sputter or try to clean itself out, it takes the gas and goes faster. I am missing one of the bronze tubes that go into the carbs float bowl, the vertical one. I was told its for my choke, not sure if thats true or not. Whats next? -

I hope not lol, the motor was just rebuilt, like maybe 20 hours of ride time. It was running great, no hickups at all, I have had this starting issue before, but not this bad I would say. -

The needle clip is on the top position, the leanest. It was breaking up like mid throttle, so I went from middle to top but no change. So I will put it back to middle next time I ride. Im sorry if I sound crude, but I just cant start from scratch. I went through every single jet size until where i am now. Any problems I was having have since been solved. The bike has tons of power, I just need to fix the mid throttle break up and this starting issue lol -

lol I thought the same thing, I could get no plug color whatsoever until I put the 380's in. Once i did, I finally got the brown plug color I was looking for. -

lol slow down guys, I have a 2 page saga for my jetting, it can be found right here.... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=102232 (read the last post in that link, it was my last update for my jetting) My jetting is up to 380 main, 35 pilot. I was running lean until I got the 380 in, and I would have a 0 - 1/8 bog with any smaller jet until I got the 35 in. With the smaller pilot jets I would have to turn the air screw all the way until 1 turn in, until I got the 35, I could then actually use my air screws to adjust idle speed.
