    the only thing internal i could think of. is if the rings haven't proerly seated? but i dont think it would make 30+ psi difference.

    ok. im wondering if that might be the problem. its the only thing i can think of. both testers read pretty darn close to the same. if thats not it, im not sure what else it could be?

    i just tried another tester. i held the trottle open and it was still about 135. would reeds have anything to do with it?

    no the throttle wasnt open. yea it was cold.

    i just started it up today. it prolly only has about 20 minutes on it. would that have anything to do with it?

    its around 800 give or take a couple hundred

    i thought it should be higher. its a matco gauge. but its pretty old. the motor has a mild port if that would have anything to do with it??

    just got the shee running today. im in missouri and have 17cc domes. the compression was 135 for both sides. is this too low? its on a fresh reduild. thanks for any help.
