tryin to get my buddies z400 back up and running...need to know what marks to line up one the wheel...theres a 1,2,and a 3 on the wheel....what marks do i line up?..i know its off topic...but its gettin chilly out and hes just as stupid to riding in the freezing weather like myself....I NEED A RIDING BUDDY!! thank you in advance... trevor

i was there last year bout this time of year...got drivin away by some guy claiming he was pit security...got some riding in thou before hand.....it was cool...100ft isnt quit 100ft anymore..lol...but its gettin bad there from what i hear from the locals...to answer your question bout the 20cc domes....20cc domes are really the cut off for race fuels....thou wit some set ups you might need a mixutere of race fuel to pump fuel...hope this helps... the capt

man...i loved riding there....but stopped venturing out there sometime last year when they started thier crap up...never been caught..thankfully the shee was fast enough...lol...but it is a shame there is no more riding places and/or dwindling down to none...seems as thou some of us down here way in south jersey will be hittin up the tracks in millville and atco...luckly there are a couplke local pits but..how long will that last?... capt

jsut did a rebuild bout 2 months ago...and sync'ed them then...i believe i did the pick up correctly..i was goin to try that next now that its in my shop and i have feeler gauges here...i used a business card to get it there the first time...but could be off a tad..thank you... and other input would be great!! thank you trevor

just last week i had put the adjustable timing plate and went right to +4....mind you everything ran great before hand...and now first weekend out to ride the left cylinder as you sit on the bike seems to lag...and not run in sync with the left....any suggestions to what happened....ive tried new plugs and such and still nothin...any suggestions would be GREAT!! thank you trevor

yea ive had a set of tusks...and didnt quit have my heart set on them from day one..so im lookin ofor something alittle more aggressive lookin and feel.. thank you all trevor

even thou they can be a bit pricey...look into the yoshi pipe...sounds awesome...and has alot of torque throu the rpm range....i mean...it dont pull like a shee...but it give you the run for the money..lol...have fun...

i too had the same problem...when installin the same set up...to tell you the truth i made the mstake of not readin the numbers on the jets..and makin sure they were the same...what i thought i saw and what it was was 2 different things..so check them mains... for proper jetting...sounds stupid but its what happened to me!! trevor

has anyone ever try to run both bar mount and stock mount trailtech lights at the same time? trevor

i run maxium 927 32:1 and never really had a problem....ill be he first to tell you that im a little hard on my machine...and it keeps taking it!!...32:1 and maxim at the shizzle!!!

update.....to my suprise!!!....found a small tear in both boots...bummer for the weekend...takin the weekend off i guess! thanks everyone!!! trevor

also i forgot to mention...running a 280 main...with the needle set at 2nd from the top...thanks again trevor

pos boost bottle mod quad head with 21 cc dome toomey t6 full exhaust kn filter wiseco stock pistons removed tors at a loss here...check for leaks..and there was none...just seems odd everything ran great up to the point of droppin a ring..no cylinder scores thank god....drop in the new mod quad head and domes and now it dont wanna idle. took everything back to stock as per the manual and still wont run right...thought i was on to something lastnight but i was wrong.....PLEASE HELP!!! tried 280 jet came down faster then the 240 jet...goin to lift the needle i guess?...any ideas? trevor

right tryin that now...running 240 jet bumpin up to 280...sees if she runs rich..then can back down with needle??? trevor

i had the same problem and i ended up doin away with the throttle over ride system and all that jazz...ended up running like new after wards...

just ot done rebuilding my shee...added modquad head and boysen reeds...cant get it to run right...engine starts...when you rev it up it will stay reved and then slowly make it way down to an idle.....ive checked for leaks but still to no avail....any ideas?... thank you trevor ps still running stock carbs

being new to this site and seein likes and dislikes of the boost bottle....if the boost bottle isnt worth it them what do you do with the cross over tube?......keep it or is there an alternative to the boost bottle or stock tube that i dont know about? thank you trevor
