  1. Thanks for the replies guys. Think I'll try 15/41. Anybody else some input?? Something I've overlooked maybe?
  2. Hey guys! Whassup? I purchased donkeypuncher's hjr dune ported jugs (you can see the dyno sheet in the dyno room if you want to) a while back and will be adding them to my banshee in the next few weeks. I have dmc 916 pipes, filter, reeds and noss head with 21cc domes at the moment. Ordering some new pistons and fast clutch from FAST..... So I am going to change the gearing. I was thinking 15/41 or 15/40. I'm running 22" rears. What do you guys think what be the best gearing. I ride hard packed and dunes mostly. Is there anything else you think I need??? Thanks in advance!!! Fig
  3. Yes, they're ready-to-go cylinders. As for the pipes. If you want a drag pipe, go for shearer but please do consider the new snipers. look around a bit and you'll only find great info about them
  4. I recently purchased some ported cylinders from donkeypuncher. All I can say is WOW, what a seller! Don't ever hesitate to buy from this guy, very fast replies and a concerned and honest guy! Thanks man!
  5. Just got it thanks
  6. I sent you a pm about the pwk carbs 2 days ago..... still waiting
  7. And now he doesn't want to reply....
  8. I got shipping info from u yesterday and now the carbs are sold? Whats going on man?
  9. Hello bkc? Carbs sold??
  10. There's your problem.... 20tooth front sprocket??? Put on a 14 and a 41 rear. That's stock and should perform the best on your bike!
  11. Contact 2strokespirit on here, he'll sort it out for you!
  12. Paid! What a great seller!!
  13. PM sent
  14. Depends on where you're from. We've got some very nice enduro's here, I'm near the coast so it's mostly sand and dunes or open trails for me.
  15. Hi! I'm also from SA. Got the dmc 916, love them! I agree, go for pro circuits if you do some technical stuff of just all around play, or else you could look at dmc's (they going for decent prices at the moment here). All depends on what kind of riding you do?
  16. Sorry just saw you said you ride open fields. I'd go for DMC's everytime over fatties!
  17. They're not the same kind of pipe, what riding do you do?? Fatties are more bottom-mid and dmc mid-top. I'd go for dmc imo!
  18. Thanks Larry!! Holeshots are quite expensive here, I love the look of them. If I go holeshot, for which ones do I go??
  19. No one?? Please guys, what front tires do you run/ have experience with??
  20. Hi Peeps!! Looking for some input on front tires. Ride mostly hard packed/dirt. Every once in a while I go to the dunes, I run maxxis sur trak's on the back - luv 'em. Have heard some good things about the kenda klaw front tires. Can get some razr fronts for decent price. What do you recommend??
  21. Hi guys!! I'm from South Africa! I've been a member here for almost 2 years now and never introduced myself! I've learned a TON of info from this site and also from some members! 2 years ago I was finishing my studies and eversince I could remember, I've always wanted a quad. So I started asking questions about "what's the best and blah blah". Did some research on the internet en whala - bansheehq! (By the way, before I found bhq I didn't even know that a banshee is a 2-stroke, lol) Well, I'm a sucker for anything that's unique and what is the banshee other than unique! So January 2009 I bought a Red 07 banshee. Completely stock! Got some spacers, nerf bars, new handle bars shortly after. After watching some videos I decided I wanted Dmc 916 exhausts. Well aftermarket parts are extremely expensive here in SA, so I bought another 2007 white model with Boyesen dual stage reeds, dmc's, spacers, nerfbars, handguards and put a pro design filter in it. The red one now belongs to my girlfriend and she really enjoys it! My bike is jetted 100% and is a strong runner. I really wanted a 4mill in the future, but will wait till I need a rebuild. Going for a dune/play port real soon and ordered my coolhead, domes and adjustable timing plate from Jeff @ FAST 2 weeks ago. All I can say is wow! It arrived here in 7days, I'm really impressed Jeff. Your service is excellent! Anyway guys, that's my story thanks for all the help and info! Keep it up! PS I'll put up some pics later in the week!
